There were multiple power outages during our second day and the hotel seemed unable to turn on the backup generator to keep air condition running and lights on. Given the hot weather and traveling with a baby, this was less than ideal. Also the property has multiple sets of stairs to enter and exit the rooms and property, and ramps are limited and at times were blocked which made it hard to carry luggage.

To be surrounded by nature and listening to the birds it was an awesome experience!

La atencion en recepcion excelente. Nos brindaron no sólo informacion del hotel, sino de sitios turisticos y restaurantes
En el servicio de restaurante del hotel les hace falta mejorar la atencion.
En la cabaña no tuvimos disponibilidad completa de utensilios para comer, todo estaba por pocos
El mariposario es muy bonito y la persona a cargo super amable

The property is so pretty, the cabins are big, nice pool, delicious food and great staff. Easy for walk to town.

Worst night ever, the staff left a 6pm not restaurant open after that not body only 1 security the rooms on the top on the mountain old people cant not come is so hard and the light when off and the put it after one hour and half the phone from the room not work and try to call for the number of the hotel notbody answer if something happens not help on all i wake up early not body there so horrible!!! I wish i can get my money back also AC not good enough for the weather.

So, it stated on Hotels.com that there were only 2 rooms left… The entire place was empty other than one other family.
I got a cabin because that's all I had as an option for 3 people. There was no ramp for cars or for you to carry your luggage down.
Now, I'm with my 70-year-old mom & 60 yr old aunt. The cabin they gave us was atop another hill!!! Needless to say, my family could not make the walk just to get to the cabin.
It was a far far walk, not ideal if you have any heavy luggage. There was only one worker there to help but we had to try to carry everything else ourselves, it was rough and my mom didn't make it halfway. Went back to exchange for another room, but they didn't say anything as the hotel was empty and everything was under construction or being painted.
Being hungry after the 4-hour bus ride there, the kitchen and service was horrible. My mom got a baleada and even starving, she couldn't eat it! Expensive & horrible. The TV worked for 1 day, the water was cold but I expected that and it was full of ants. Won't go back.
The only nice experience was at the Mariposario with the few butterflies they had.

Nice hotel with lots of stairs. Not suitable for wheelchair, elders or strollers. The staff was very kind and helpful. No complaints with any staff member.

The family cabins where big, confortable but didnt feel soo clean. The bathroom towels felt old and didnt smell fresh.

The property is beautiful, the pool was nice and clean. Overall if you dont have a problem with stairs, youll be fine. We just hope they clean the rooms a little better.
