Pros:

Very kind owner and super helpful staff. The room was modern and spacious, and had a good shower.

Cons:

Strong moldy smell coming from the bed frame, not very pleasant. We would have liked the breakfast better with less options but higher quality.

Gutes Hotel mitten in Kandy
Pros:

Unser erstes Hotel auf unserer Reise. Mitten in der Stadt in einem kleinen Gässchen gelegen. Fußläufig kann man den Tempel und ein Einkaufszentrum gut erreichen in dem man auch super essen kann. Der Gastgeber hat uns einige Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben was wirklich hilfreich war. Zum Botanical Garden sind es etwa 4km und gut mit dem TukTuk zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und lecker! Das Bad ist sehr sauber. Wer neben den vielen Unterkünften mal im Hotel übernachten will, ist hier super untergebracht :)

Beim Frühstück fehlt es an nichts - von Continentalfrühstück bis Sri lankisches Frühstück alles vorhanden:-)

A very nice place, but could be cheaper.
Pros:

Very spacious and clean room. Staff are amazing. Everything in the room works, which is nice. Breakfast buffet opposed to prescribed breakfast.

Cons:

Location is a bit out of the way, 1km from the city and up a small alley. The building, so not so much the staff, echoes a lot, so when they start preparing breakfast at 6am, everyone in the building hears it.

There are some rooms(not mine), which literally open onto the breakfast room, where the prep room is also located, so I think the people staying there had no chance of sleeping late.

Coffee is extremely weak. It's basically coloured water. They'll add more if you ask, so it can be made better, but if you don't ask, you don't get.
