Pros:

Hôtel très confortable et calme. Bonne situation géographique. Excellent pdéj-buffet (3500 ISK). Dîner correct mais pas donné (10300 ISK pour 1 soupe, 1 plat de saumon + 1 petite bière). En comparaison, le prix de la chambre n'est pas excessif.

Cons:

Pas d'ascenseur, utile avec des bagages lourds.

I wanted to reach out and send a sincere thank you for your incredible flexibility and kindness during the recent severe weather between April 5th and 6th.

As you know, the official road closures and shelter-in-place orders made it impossible for us to reach the hotel on our original reservation dates. We were quite stressed trying to navigate the conditions, and your willingness to accommodate our last-minute changes was a huge relief.

It is rare to find such understanding and professional service during unpredictable circumstances. We are so grateful for your help and look forward to staying with you on our next trip to Iceland.

Het ontbijt was mega uitgebreid en goed verzorgd!

Cons:

Badkamer was super klein. De douche was met een douchegordijn, maar omdat de douche zo klein was kwam je de hele tijd tegen het gordijn aan.

I warn travelers against staying at this place. First, it was not possible to make a reservation without paying in full upfront, and there was no option to cancel and receive a refund, not even a partial one.

Secondly, I have to say that the level of customer service was nonexistent. We travel extensively around the world, and we have rarely experienced such inflexibility and lack of understanding.

We had to cancel two rooms because of the weather, but no consideration was shown for the circumstances. I would sooner recommend sleeping in the car than staying here.
