A great location
I didn’t know we were going to be in a building across the street from the hotel. It would’ve been more convenient to be in the hotel itself.
Location was great and large breakfast selection. Spacious rooms.
No elevator which made us carry our bags to the third floor. But that wasn’t a big issue.

Stepping into Hotel Höfn is like being transported back 50 years in time, at least if you were born in the 60s. The hotel has been tastefully renovated with the aim of maintaining the ideals of the late 50s. The staff are very friendly, the food is good and the beds are comfortable. Did I mention that the hotel is beautifully situated on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and with a view of the glaciers to the east?!
Receptionist was extremely welcoming, friendly and informative, added bonus of their being a hotel cat at reception, we had an amazing nights sleep.
