Pros:

O alojamento fica num bairro tranquilo, a cerca de 7 minutos encontramos um supermercado, o metro ou parques agradáveis para passear à beira do canal. Fizeram-nos um upgrade e ficámos com um apartamento de 1 quarto, mais confortável.

Cons:

Houve um problema (supostamente, no sistema) com o nosso pagamento - apesar de já termos pago tudo, por várias vezes recebemos comunicações de que tínhamos de pagar cerca de 250€ a mais. Isto gerou algum desconforto, desconfiança e senso de desorganização! O quarto tinha algumas falhas na limpeza, tivemos de pedir toalhas (pois esqueceram-se de deixar no apartamento) e as mesmas vinham com manchas de base (de maquilhagem) e cabelos. A cozinha só tinha 2 exemplares de tudo - 2 pratos, 2 canecas, 2 garfos, etc. - apesar de sermos só 2 pessoas é chato quando precisamos de um garfo ou colher extra para um segundo prato ou para servir, por exemplo. Também só havia uma frigideira e uma panela. Não havia itens essenciais para cozinhar como sal e azeite, por exemplo.

Great location but small beds.
Pros:

It’s a great location near the University, trams and grocery store.

Cons:

Description of accommodation not accurate. Description stated a king size bed. Separate page description stated a queen size bed. Bed is actually two twins pushed together. Some of the furniture was stained.

Better than we had imagined
Pros:

We were self catering. Found supermarket close by.

Trams were close by.

Amazing apartment perfect for our family as we all had space and ideal with two bedrooms both with en suite

Immersi nella bellezza del quartiere Plantage
Pros:

Posizione molto comoda, vicino alle fermate dei principali trasporti e supermercati. Immerso in una zona residenziale bellissima. Appartamento dotato di elettrodomestici funzionali tra cui una comodissima lavatrice e asciugatrice.

Cons:

I cuscini del letto sono terribili, abbiamo chiesto se si potessero cambiare ma ci è stato detto che c’erano solo quelli. Pulizie decisamente da migliorare, al nostro arrivo ho dovuto ripulire io l’appartamento e in una settima di soggiorno sono state fatte “ le pulizie” una sola volta e pure in modo grossolano.

The location, the amenities in the apartment and ability to rent bikes from the Wittenberg was wonderful. The apartment was spacious

Cons:

The rooms initially weren't very clean - there was hair on the counters and in the shower, the couch had a stain, the tables were sticky. We had to ask 3 times before there was a proper cleaning, but the staff did ultimately rectify the situation. The only other problem is that the kitchen sink was backing up from someone else's apartment. We asked multiple times for someone to come look at it and no one came. We didn't need the sink that much, so it wasn't a big deal, but we didn't feel like asking multiple times was not ideal if we had needed the sink.

We strict veg / diabetic couple. There were no utensils provided to cook.

We stayed for 8 days but house keeping was done only once before departure.

Pros:

Size is very good for the family. Staff is very helpful and speaks excellent English.

Pros:

Lovely property,. Bedroom and linens were perfect for a good nights sleep.

Amsterdam Wedding Trip
Pros:

Came to Amsterdam for a wedding. The Wittenberg was amazing; the large rooms with kitchens and social areas was so nice. We eat healthy so the hotel was excellent for us to buy & prep our own meals when needed! All the staff was amazing, particularly Nia! The location is very central with tango access to the tram system. Would most definitely stay here again!!

Fair facilities , poor administration and communication.
Pros:

Quiet neighborhood, close to public transport facilities

Cons:

The additional VAT of €359.00 that I had to pay at check-in due to the increase the tax rate by government. This was never communicated to me at all . This is unfair to the budget traveler .
