We read plenty of reviews before booking, mostly flagging the small bathrooms and breakfast. Honestly, that was useful preparation rather than a warning sign. Yes, the bathroom is small, but if you’re used to travelling in Europe, this won’t faze you.

Breakfast is a sit-down “special of the day” and it was substantial! My husband doesn’t eat eggs but there was still plenty for him to enjoy. If you have allergies or intolerances, you would need to speak with the staff in advance to see if this can be accommodated.

We initially didn’t get the room we thought we’d booked, but the hotel was happy to move us the following day. My tip when booking: request a front-facing room. We stayed one night in a side room and three in a front room and it made such a difference. There were even concerts in the space outside the hotel from around sunset until midnight – not a problem for us at all, and actually gave us a front-row seat to the atmosphere.

Above all, the hotel was spotlessly clean and gave us a comfortable base to relax in. The location is the real standout – incredible views over the port, right next to the Panagitsa tower, and perfectly placed for exploring Skopelos’s backstreets.

Das Hotel liegt am Ende der Hafenstraße mit einem schönen Blick auf die Bucht. Das Frühstück ist phantastisch! Jeden Tag gab es ein anderes, sehr umfangreiches Frühstück, das mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet worden war.

La posizione è ottima nel cuore della città vecchia di Skopelos.La camera, con la vista meravigliosa sul porto, è essenziale e pulita.Colazione ottima,a discrezione del cuoco quindi ogni giorno diversa con salato e dolce, al tavolo..Ottimi i Lucumani tipiche frittelle di Skooelos servite con miele locale.

Die Lage ist nahe am Hafen, es gibt einen Strand, an dem man Schwimmen kann. Die Gastgeberin war bemüht.
Der Balkon ist nett.

פופי מנהלת/בעלים של המקום- אישה מקסימה, חמה ולבבית! דאגה לנו לארוחת בוקר מושלמת, טעימה ברמות אחרות, ובשעה מוקדמת מהרגיל כי היינו צריכות לצאת מוקדם לטיול מאורגן. למחרת נאלצנו לצאת עוד יותר מוקדם למעבורת, אז פופי הכינה לנו ארוחת לילה במקום בוקר, אבל לצערנו לא הספקנו גם את זה.
המיקום לא פחות ממושלם - על הנמל, צמוד לכנסיה הלבנה בקצה המפורסם של ההר והנמל. קרוב לכל ההתרחשויות בסמטאות, המסעדות והחנויות.
הרחובות מקסימים,ציוריים, והאנשים ... וואו! החביבות והאדיבות בולטת כל כך!

gute Lage am Ende des Hafens, herzliche Gastgeberin, tolles Frühstück

Η διαμονή μας ήταν μια πραγματικά αυθεντική εμπειρία. Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται στην καλύτερη τοποθεσία, ακριβώς στην καρδιά της Σκοπέλου. Το δωμάτιό μας ήταν πεντακάθαρο, με ένα μεγάλο μπαλκόνι που προσέφερε υπέροχη, διπλή θέα τόσο στο λιμάνι όσο και στην ανοιχτή θάλασσα.
Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν εξαιρετικά ευγενικοί, πρόθυμοι και πάντα εκεί για ό,τι κι αν χρειαστήκαμε. Το αποκορύφωμα, όμως, ήταν το πρωινό: χειροποίητο, μαγειρεμένο εκεί, με ολόφρεσκα τοπικά υλικά που σε έκαναν να νιώθεις σαν στο σπίτι σου. Το συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα!
