If you want luxury this is the perfect place to stay, 10/10
Pros:

As soon as you pull up to the property you feel like royalty, huge pillars and lights at the front, has a real grandeur feel to it. There were bellboys to assist with our luggage at the entrance. Then when we walked in there were traditional Kandyan dancers with drums & dancing to welcome us to the hotel. After check in we were assisted by Ayesha who showed us round the hotel facilities and to our room, she was super warm & welcoming. We arrived to our hotel room and it was like a suite absolutely beautiful clean & modern. So spacious with a beautiful view of the rice plantation. Then we went to the pool the next day. There was an infinity pool with a view of Kandy with lots of available deck chairs and music so was a great vibe. Long cocktail list with good prices too.

Relaxing and highly enjoyable stay, we loved the hotel and will be back.
Pros:

Great hotel with all you can ask for. Lovely play area for kids indoors and there is a great games room. Gym was great as well. Great buffet for breakfast.

Cons:

Nothing to pick out, at the check in staff wanted payment straight away for some extras which was a bit odd (it might be their policy). Games room was fantastic for us - they can really use it more by putting a bar there.

A Hidden Gem in the Crown of Kandy

Our stay at the Golden Crown Hotel in Kandy was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beautiful setting, breathtaking views and the sheer warmth of the service.

The room was spacious, beautifully maintained and extremely comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The views were simply stunning and made the hotel feel like a peaceful retreat away from the bustle of Kandy.

The pool area was one of the highlights of our stay. It was beautifully designed, tranquil and the perfect place to unwind while taking in the surrounding scenery. The spa facilities were equally impressive and provided exactly the kind of relaxation we were looking for.

What truly elevated our experience, however, was the service. A special mention must go to Ayesha, the Guest Relations Manager, who was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive, warm, professional and genuinely went out of her way to make sure our family felt welcome and looked after. Her personal touch made a real difference to our stay.

Every member of staff we encountered was courteous and attentive, but Ayesha deserves particular recognition for the care and hospitality she showed us.

My mother summed up our experience perfectly when she called the Golden Crown “a hidden gem in the crown of Kandy.” I could not agree more.

A beautiful hotel, spectacular views, excellent facilities and, above all, outstanding Sri Lankan hospitality. We would happily return and would wholeheartedly recommend the Golden Crown to anyone visiting Kandy.

Pros:

Sehr netter Empfang mit Musik, tolles Frühstücksbuffet mit wunderschöner Aussicht und ein traumhafter Infinity-Pool. Besonders Ms. Mihirini war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns alle Fragen schnell beantwortet. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! ❤️

Einfach ein tolles Hotel
Pros:

Ein besonderes Erlebnis mit unglaublich gutem Service. Hier kommt man sich willkommen vor und wird gleich herzlich begrüßt.

Cons:

Es wurde 4 mal gebeten ein Review abzugeben und das bei nur einer Übernachtung. Der Hinweis ist ja hier in Sri Lanka normal aber bitte nicht ganz so oft.
