I recently stayed at Golden Crown Hotel with my family and had a wonderful experience. The staff members were very supportive and specially the Front Office Manager Minon. She was extremely supportive and professional.
We had a wonderful stay at the Golden Crown Hotel in Kandy. The location is perfect – just minutes from the Temple of the Tooth and Kandy Lake.
Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with great views. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the restaurant food was excellent overall.
The rooftop,/ infinity pool area is a highlight with beautiful evening views. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this hotel!

A very special mention goes to Miss Anushima Kodikara, our event coordinator. From the very beginning, she was exceptionally friendly, supportive, and flexible. Her cooperation and tireless hard work stood out at every stage - whether it was managing last-minute changes, easing our worries, or ensuring every little detail matched our expectations. Her full dedication and warm personality made the planning process so much smoother and the wedding day far less stressful. She was really incredible at her age.

We had a great time... we love the swimming pool and tge great facilities ... all the staff are very friendly... well maintained rooms...beautifully lobby... Minon is very friends and helpful she gae very good information about kandy city . Highly recommended .

We had our homecoming function on 9th May 2026 as a night event at the Crown Court of The Golden Crown Hotel, and it was truly a wonderful experience. Everything was beautifully arranged, and the atmosphere was elegant and memorable.
A special thank you to Anushima Kodikara for being extremely helpful, professional, and supportive from the reservation stage until the end of the function. She ensured that every detail was handled perfectly and coordinated everything smoothly throughout the entire process. She never hesitated to accommodate any request we made, even with our last minute changes, and always handled everything with great care and professionalism.
The buffet was absolutely delicious as well. Huge thanks to Executive Chef Suresh Kahadawala and his team for serving such a tasty and well prepared spread that all our guests enjoyed.

We had an amazing stay at The Golden Crown Hotel in Sri Lanka. Warm hospitality from all the staff, spotless clean rooms, and outstanding food with so many delicious choices to choose from.
The poolside area was absolutely heaven! Our kids had a fabulous time and enjoyed every moment of the stay.

Grand appearance cool rooms, fast elevators friendly helpful staff especially Chathu. Who seemed to build a lovely bond with my Kenyan partner very quickly and was there to greet us at every meal and even at checkout. The room was beautiful.

The laundry service wasn't able to complete our laundry in a rush .
There was no standing fan.
The breakfast didn't have any mangos or chocolate crossiants which we were disappointed about.

Room was good. Food was average, limited veg and jain options and available jain and veg buffet food was cold and not tasty at all. , we emailed meal preference earlier but still nothing done specifically for veg and jain food.
On arrival day dinner was not good at all, next day breakfast was little better.
One mirchi fritters with veg symbol has fish masala in it, if we had not asked specifically for each dish, we would have consumed by mistake considering it veg. We asked to prepare dal Khichdi but it was not cooked properly, no masala no lemon just bland Dal and rice.
One suggestion to keep all pure veg without egg stuff on separate counters , else One can interchange spoon and mix veg non veg egg stuff.
Kids area , indoor games area and swimming pool we just checked from outside, no staff were there , we wanted tonplay Foosball but no staff was there and ball wasn't present there.
We had an amazing stay .... good food attentive staff... beautiful pool what a lovely hotel... I must mention Minon the manger she helped us with our all requests she is vwey friendly. We will definitely come back soon.
