The Golden Crown Hotel was one of our favourite hotels in Sri Lanka. The food was absolutely incredible, the selection you have and the taste was so good! Additionally the way everything was setup was beautiful and clean. The rooms themselves were very clean and well maintained. The staff are absolutely fantastic, they take careful note of your name and what you've been up to - asking questions about your day and just having general conversation. The pool was really beautiful with views that didn't match other stays we had in Kandy. The last thing we want to mention is the massages, they were so so good, we got the full body, 90 minute massage and I think we both drifted off at one point, we've never felt so relaxed. I would go back to the crown in a heartbeat - thank you so much for such a memorable stay
The only critique about the whole building would be the room just before you enter the spa, the curtains are coming off the wall and the carpet was worn and old. It wasn't dirty but it needs a revamp to fit the rest of the property.
Excellent pool, staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Excellent facilities including games room.

التأخر الكبير بتسجيل الوصول
عدم إعطاء كرت ثاني لفتح الغرفة بعذر عدم تواجدها وعلي الحضور صباحاً ولما أحضر بالصباح نفس الإجابة ويطلبون مني الحضور مساءاً وهكذا لمدة 3 أيام علماً بأنها كانت متوفرة ، وعندما طلبت مقابلة المشرف تهرب وخرج من المكتب مسرعاً.
كان هناك حفلة تخرج طلابي بالفندق وأخبرونا تنتهي الساعة العاشرة مساءاً حيث كانت الموسيقى صاخبة وازعاج شديد لم نستطع النوم وعند التواصل مع الاستقبال قالوا تنتهي في العاشرة والربع ثم العاشرة والنصف ولم تنتهي إلا الساعة 11 مساءً لقد كذبوا علينا بشدة بموعد انتهاء الحفل !! وعندما تكلمت مع المشرف الغير محترف قال لي ننقلكم لغرفة أخرى وغداَ صباحاً نعيدكم لنفس الغرفة!! هل هذا يعقل ؟؟ هل هذا عمل إحترافي !!!!

The breakfast and dinner buffet were amazing and it had a great selection of food including lots of Sri Lanka delicacies . It had two pools,a gym,a kids club and a game room. The staff were so nice to us , one even took the time to show us around the whole building. The location had a lot of good activities outside the hotel. We would love to come here again.
The swimming pool was a bit cold but otherwise our stay was fantastic.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und geräumig. Unser Kids haben den Pool geliebt. Das Essen (Abendessen sowie Frühstück) war sehr gut. Das Personal war extrem freundliche und zuvorkommend.

From the moment we walked into the hotel, the service was exceptional. We had traditional musicians welcome us in and the FOH staff were amazing. The hotel services were excellent, Breakfast was out of this world. I would say it exceeds even some of the top 5 star hotels in Dubai. If Breakfast was excellent, Dinner buffet was exceptional. We had to pay for this extra approximately $25/ Person but it was the correct decision. During our 4 day stay we ate in the hotel restaurant 3 evenings. The buffet again was out of this world. The food selection was exceptional and desserts, smoothies and fruits were second to none. The bar and swimming pool were excellent too. Finally waking up each morning and going on to the balcony you are waken up by nature and the gorgeous green rice fields. Overall an amazing experience, we would definetely stay there again if we visited Kandy.

La Suite est très grande et très confortable. La restauration au buffet international est très variée et de très grande qualité. L'hôtel est moderne et les vues sur la jungle sont superbes
