Pros:

It’s an old hotel - shared bathroom down the hall - the room had kettle, fridge, tv, reversible aircon, room serviced daily - nice busy bar with good food choices… great location. Friendly, helpful staff.

Manager phoned the day before to ask what time I was arriving. Close to walk to cafes and waterfront. On the bus route. In-house restaurant was very nice.

The Norfolk is old-style, but simple, clean and convenient.
The shared bathroom is fine, as in three days I didnt see anyone else using it.

Old and basic but clean ,3 set of stairs from from car park or 2 sets of stairs from st level .I have a bung knee but was still doable. But price suited facility, Pub food options good a lot slow smoked meats

As a likely tourist venue for retirees, the Norfolk Hotel would fail any Risk Assessment.There is no lift and there are 2 sets of internal stairs and 1 set at the Main Entrance without a handrail!!! Any fall would warrant litigation!I I could NOT have managed these on my own.
The bed in Room 8 is so close to the wall that getting in and out was very difficult. Food very expensive compared with ourSunshine Coast pricing. Service great.

Pros:

Located above a busy pub. Can be noisy. Our twin room was cozy. The shared bathroom was just along the corridor and clean. Staff is friendly and luggage storage is available.
