My new 1st choice in Taichung
Pros:

Really good stay here, 2 trips.
Amazing nights sleep, very comfortable and quiet, which is difficult to find in Taiwan at a reasonable price.
Powerful hot shower, clean bathroom.
Power sockets next to the bed, which sometimes not provided in Taiwan.
Staff are excellent, one young man with glasses during the day was particularly helpful.
Good breakfast, plenty options food and drink.
Free tea and coffee 24 hours. Laundry, small gym.
Good location for bars, restaurants, 7Elevens, sogo etc.
My new hotel for Taichung! See you next month!

Pros:

Big Standard Twin Room with 2 queen beds -- wonderful! The hotel was nicer than I had expected for the price. Very clean and within walking distance to several F&B options. The 3 washing machines and dryers were free to use and breakfast was included in the price.
