Good to experience once, next time I wouldn’t pay the $$ for view alone.
Pros:

Gorgeous views, clean, comfy. The server who brought my glass of wine up and the gentleman who checked us out were great!

Cons:

One of the check-in guest service workers should learn to mange their judgy facial expressions, that alone makes us not want to go back. I’ve had better treatment at a Best Western lol

Relaxing
Pros:

Hotel was amazing! Room was so comfortable and the pool was fantastic. Mountain view room was well worth the price. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Restaurant was delicious. Was a perfect weekend getaway.

Pros:

The staff was exceptional, attentive without being overbearing. We ate breakfast 3 times and it was always quite good.

Cons:

There was a slight leak under the toilet that allowed sewer gas to enter the bathroom.

Nice spot for a respite!
Pros:

Great location in Spring Creek in Canmore. Within easy drive of skiing and hiking. Local trails are great. Great views of the mountains. Good restaurant in hotel and in town. Rooms are nicely appointed and clean. HVAC gentle hum a bit annoying for me but might not bother others. I did not avail myself of the pool/gym area but could see families made the most of these facilities.

Outstanding Venue/Wonderful Staff
Pros:

We have been to the Malcolm a couple of times. The hotel sits below the Three Sisters mountain range and the views are world class. The thing that makes the hotel a cut above the rest, apart from the location and amenities, are the friendly professional staff!!

100/10 Experience at the Malcolm Hotel
Pros:

My stay at the Malcolm Hotel was amazing. I enjoyed the view of the mountains from my room. I loved how courteous and pleasant the staff were. It was also great to know that they have board and card games that my friend and I enjoyed playing in our downtime. Our room was spotlessly clean. It was a great experience staying at the Malcolm Hotel while exploring Canmore. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel- highly recommend!
Pros:

Great place to stay in Canmore. Quiet area, stunning views of the mountains from our room- even the 3 sisters. Reception area is beautiful with a fire going. We liked that we mostly checked in on line so the actual check in was so quick and easy. Room comfortable. Asked for 2 extra robes for children and 2 extra duvets. Came in 5 mins. Lovely touch of treats on the bed for my sons birthday. Pool area was the best- felt like we were in a spa with our robes, the sunshine, the Mountain View. Wish we hadn’t bothered doing Banff upper hot springs as these top of by a million miles! Much better view! Great stay. Kids loved the free use of the pool table.

From the initial planning stages through to final checkout, their team delivered top-tier service that made the entire process feel effortless. They were consistently engaged, flexible, and accommodating — even as plans evolved and timelines shifted. I made numerous changes and pushed a few deadlines, and at no point did the team show anything other than professionalism and calm competence. Their attention to detail and responsiveness truly stood out, and I would not hesitate to recommend The Malcolm Hotel for executive-level meetings and retreats.

Amazing
Pros:

The hotel is surrounded by the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Canmore. Canmore is about 10 minutes from the Banff National Park and only 15 minutes from downtown Banff.
The staff are very friendly.
The cleaning and maintenance staff are very quick to address any concerns.
The front desk is staffed 24/7 by very polite and friendly staff.
There’s a concierge service to greet you upon arrival
The hotel has very secure underground parking.
The hotel has an open air hot tub and pool with an exercise room and games area close by.
There’s a beautiful gift and coffee shop near the main lobby.
The lobby also has a beautiful and warm gas fireplace to enjoy a quiet morning or evening coffee by.
The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating.
The rooms are very nice and quite comfortable. You have your own private balcony to sit outside a watch a beautiful sunrise or sunset.
I’d highly recommend the Malcolm Hotel
