Pros:

Amazing place. The room was huge and the facilities (restaurant and pool) are really pleasant and nice.

Cons:

They were really slow making breakfast even though we were the only people in the restaurant

Une belle vue sur le lac.

Cons:

Le bruit des chaises qui grincent du restaurant au 4eme étage. Notre chambre était au 3ème étage, partir de 6h30 ce n'était plus possible de dormir.

Das Personal an der Rezeption hat uns leider komplett falsch beraten bezüglich des Festivals. Hätten wir auf diesen Rat gehört hätten wir das Festival verpasst.

Pros:

We've stayed for a night at Oak Ray Heritage Hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The room view is breath taking. We could see the lake from the room.
A special shoutout to the staff for preparing "Kiri Ahara" on request. It was made with special care, we could notice that. They didn't even charge for it.
The pool amenities and restaurant service was spot on.
We had one of our best stays here at Oak Ray Heritage.

Cons:

- with more than 1 month in advance I asked to reduce the stay from 5 to 4 nights (no change of dates), I could not do this change myself and neither the hotel nor booking.com could assist with this request (or did not want to): I had to pay for 1 night (2 rooms) in excess (I got compensated with one buffet dinner for 4 pax)
- avoid the fourth floor if you want to sleep beyond 7am. the restaurant is on the fifth floor and at that time you can expect a jarring symphony of moving chairs and tables

Het hotel is netjes en schoon.

Cons:

Kleine dingen vielen tegen. Kamers afrekenen bij binnenkomst ben ik niet gewend. Vervolgens vragen om het diner te betalen terwijl we halfpension geboekt hadden. Heel gedoe over gehad met de beste meneer. De menu kaart is overigens ook niet erg uitgebreid. Om 8 uur sochtends aanbellen terwijl we nog sliepen met de vraag of de kamer schoon gemaakt moest worden beviel ons ook niet echt.

Mooi en comfortabel verblijf in Kandy tijdens Perahera
Pros:

Mooie kamer met groot balkon met zicht op het meer en ook zicht op temple of the tooth en ook zicht op de Perahera stoet.
Zeer aangename badkamer.
Goeie airco

Cons:

Ontbijt ziet er mooi uit maar toch wel wat gebreken als je rond 8u a 8u30 aankomt (ontbijt tot 9u30) zoals lauw water om koffie te maken, wafeltjes hard, stokbrood hard, nog items die te droog waren.
Yogurt was dan nog de beste optie en de omelet.
Espressomachine zou toch mogen voor dit soort hotelklasse.

Highlight in Kandy – Spektakuläre Aussicht & moderner Komfort
Pros:

Sehr modernes und stilvolles Hotel mit wunderschönem Ausblick auf den Kandy-See. Absolutes Highlight ist der großartige Rooftop-Pool – perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Zimmer sind extrem geräumig, modern eingerichtet und sehr komfortabel. Auch das Frühstück auf der tollen Terrasse lässt keine Wünsche offen. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Cons:

Durch die Lage an der Straße ist es leider stellenweise etwas laut.

Prima middenklasse hotel
Pros:

Uitzicht over het meer vanaf de kamer en bij het ontbijt is prachtig. Ligging tov meer en tempel van de tand is gunstig.

Cons:

Wij hadden een kamer vlak bij de lift aan de open gang tegenover het restaurant. Hierdoor hadden we tot laat in de avond last van de zeer luide live muziek van het restaurant tegenover het hotel en van de lift.
De bedden waren niet heel comfortabel.

Our overall stay was satisfactory but the food standards need improvement.
Pros:

Location and friendly staff

Cons:

Created a negative impact when cultural show dancers started collecting money from the audience after the show.That was a really an unpleasant experience for all the guests paying a premium price for the ticket and dancers desperately expecting the audience to offer them a tip.That killed the whole effort.Please make sure to avoid such negative practices at your hotel.

Pros:

La chambre pour trois est vraiment très spacieuse avec un grand balcon et une vue vraiment splendide sur le lac. La literie est très confortable. La salle de bain est très bien avec une douche indépendante. À souligner également beaucoup de rangement dans la chambre. Enfin le petit déjeuner est servi sous forme de buffet. C’est à la fois varié et très bon.
L’hôtel se trouve à 10 minutes à pied du centre.

Cons:

Éventuellement, les peintures de la chambre pourraient être rafraîchies.

Pros:

Views from room, pool and restaurant were amazing. We could see day 1 of Esala Perahera (distant view). Staff were friendly. They actually gave us twin beds as requested in booking!

Cons:

The room was tatty in parts and safe didn’t work (but we didn’t report it). Not enough hot water when showering.

Bien pour découvrir Kandy
Pros:

Une belle vue sur le lac depuis la chambre et le restaurant.
Parfait pour passer une nuit à Kandy.
Shaliq a l’accueil était très disponible et à l’écoute. Merci ☺️

Cons:

La salle de bains, la douche présentaient des traces de moisissures. Cependant la chambre et l’hôtel sont bien entretenus, c’est propre.

El restaurante tiene unas vistas espectaculares dela ciudad y del lago

Cons:

Las habitaciones dan a unos pasillos que quedan abiertos al exterior y hay mucho ruido dr coches. Ademas tiene al lado una perrera y se oye ladrar x la noche. El hotel esta bastante desactualizado y le falta mas limpieza.
