The room is quite spacious and clean. The location is also convenient, with easy access to buses into town.

Cons:

The style feel quite outdated, and the breakfast options are largely the same every day. The view overlooks a construction site, which isn’t ideal. Overall, it doesn’t quite live up to what I would expect from a 5-star hotel.

The hotel felt premium on arrival, the staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to help and to make our stay comfortable. We found this particularly when renting a car with the hotel, the staff member showed us many places to visit on the map, including restaurants and historical sites. We booked the deluxe room with a private pool, the room was a good size and very clean. Unfortunately the room pools are not heated so it couldn’t be used as it was so cold, considering the cost of the room, this would have been expected. For a premium 5 star hotel, I think this should be a standard, particularly as the main pool was closed due to the time of year (April). Another small thing about the room, the tv was old and only had local channels, again for a premium hotel in 2026, I think all tvs should be smart tvs.
The breakfast buffet was great, lots of options both hot and cold everyday. There was a restaurant just outside the hotel, this was also very good and a nice area to sit by the water.
Although the location was very picturesque, there isn’t much locally so I wouldn’t recommend renting a car from the hotel if you are able to.
Overall the hotel was very good, I imagine when it is in season, the added amenities will really add to the whole experience and make the price worth it.

Goed maar duur hotel, lekker zwembad maar wel afgelegen

- groot mooi zwembad met voldoende bedjes en service aan je bedje
- heerlijke bedden
- goede ruime lekkere douche
- schoon

Cons:

- erg duur voor wat je krijgt (zeker goed maar niet bijzonder, daardoor wel duur)
- kamers erg gehorig, schoonmakers meestal rond half 8 al aan t schoonmaken dat hoor je en hoorde ook tv van de buren en gesnurk van de buurman
- gordijnen verduisteren niet goed dus in de ochtend al heel licht in de kamer
- locatie niet top, afgelegen, zeker 45 minuten lopen naar een dorpje met restaurantjes

Really enjoyed this stay. Wonderful view across the bay and great facilities including gym and spa.
Pros:

Hotel great and reception and housekeeping staff brilliant. Pool and bar/restaurant area really lovely and we spent a lot of time there. The beach in front of the hotel was a disappointment. Found a brilliant beach not far from hotel but lots of stairs and a 15 minute hard walk away. I think the hotel should offer a courtesy bus to get guests there and back and this would compensate for the lack of a beach at the hotel.

Cons:

Dinning room extremely busy - had to wait for a table twice.
