Very nice hotel, shame about a few staff
Pros:

The staff at reception were fantastic. Very friendly and attentive, even gave a free room upgrade to a larger room with an excellent view.
Extremely comfortable beds and pillows and lovely coffee bags in the room. Would definitely recommend staying.

Cons:

The only issue was the bar staff seemed to not want to engage in any conversation with you, and seemed like asking for service was a chore to them. It was a little disappointing, especially when you are paying a little more than average for a cocktail. I was going to ask about a whisky tasting flight but, felt that the staff wouldn't have wanted to share any knowledge on the subject.

Excellent location and welcoming staff, room cleanliness fell short of what I would expect at this pr
Pros:

The hotel was lovely, staff were very friendly. Room 105 was very noisy, we asked to move and were offered another room however, the new room felt substantially smaller. The staff in the bar were friendly although very slow! The cleaners - came into our room every day however, towels were merely folded and not replaced ( I would expect a clean towel for a 3 day stay with the price we paid) Table in the room was very dusty, tea bags were not replenished although it was obvious on day 1 that we had used them as they managed to clean the mugs. Room temperature - was either ridiculously hot or freezing cold. Rooms could do with better lighting - I understand that it adds to the ambience but literally had to use my torch on my phone to find anything.
