THE ONLY POSITIVE THING ABOUT THIS HOTEL IS THE LOCATION.
The furnitures were pretty old (carpet, chair in the room,...) and bathroom definitely needs a renovation.
Breakfast was just ok but I had greater expectations and was pretty disappointed.
Worst part of our stay was actually the staff. Most of them were not helpful, not caring and definitely not kind (I would say "rude" but I don't wanna be mean). Unfortunately I forgot to get the names of the few people that were kind to us : tall guy that carried our luggages, one waitress at breakfast, and the smiling/ very patient cleaning lady.
We gave a shirt to be ironed, and it came back dirtier with traces of a blue pen on it! we didn't bother to mention it coz the lady at the front desk was super nonchalant when we asked if the laundry service could pick it at the front desk coz we were going out.
TBH our stay was not worth the price, at all...

A very pleasant staying here in golden tulip canaan kampala hotel, located in the city center, it's all about 2km from the main business building, shopping center like acacia, good supermarkets like Carrefour, various restaurants and cafeteria could be reached just downstairs. It's a cozy quite hotel to stay. I really appreciate the kindness and hospitalities of Barbrah and Sheweit from the reception, good experience here in kampala with them.
I experienced great comfort. Rooms and bed were clean. The facility was generally excellent. I strongly recommend Golden Tulip to friends.

Great friendly staff and facilities
Nice room with nice views, very close to breweries and shopping centers. Staff is humble, cooperative. Nice food and restaurent. Rooftop bar and restaurent named ‘summit’.
