Good snacks and cocktails
Small pool
Hotel where you will actually feel like a welcome guest. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff is extremely friendly. You feel safe there. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom offers a small bathtub as well as a shower. The food is excellent, so you don't have to look around for a good restaurant. It is prepared by a top chef. If you are going to Kampala and want accommodation that will be safe and comfortable, Golden Tulip is the best choice.
The best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel... tasty wings, a big selection of fruits, nuts and juices! Breakfast is the best thing about that hotel.
Also good location... easy to navigate my way from there
Clean room, lovely view and the largest collection of toiletries I've ever had.

The only one minor thing that I didn't like is the water that takes about 10min to warm up.... on the first day I almost reported to the reception that I don't have warm water after waiting forever for it. The worst part is that the taps do not have indications of H and C directions.
Lighting can also be better

It was a fun experience, the pool and the gym are very nice and relaxing. It is an excellent hotel and very neat, very nice staff, and is so welcoming. I will definitely be coming back, with my family!
I stay at Golden Tulip Hotel every time I transit through Kampala.
Highlights are:
Quality and selection of food offered in breakfast buffet.
Reasonable selection of equipment in the gym and sufficient in quantity that generally don’t have to wait too long to use preferred equipment.
Staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Food offered in the 3 restaurants for evening meal is good quality and reasonably priced.
I loved this place, the staff were so kind and respectful, anytime I called someone came through, the food, mmmh the food was to die for. I can go all day, but all I can say is, if you are in Kampala looking for a convenient location to safe and assuring place to reside, definitely consider this place, the ambience too at the roof top🫴🏾🫴🏾
