A wonderful location, away from the village and other noisy areas. The ocean is stunning; we enjoyed it despite the tides, as we had the chance to both walk along the ocean floor and swim during high tide. The pool is also great—we loved relaxing there during low tide. Excellent drinks at the poolside bar. Welcoming, polite, and friendly staff.
I wasn't happy with the cleanliness and condition of the towels and bed linen; they were sometimes stained or quite worn. The room was rather noisy due to the sound of the surf, though that wasn't a major issue since that’s exactly what we came for. I would have liked a bit more variety in the food served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
La struttura è in una posizione fantastica, lontana dai resort con musica alta e spiagge piene di turisti.
Oltre alle due piscine grandi c’è un ingresso privato sulla spiaggia di fronte che con il fenomeno delle maree offre un paesaggio inspiegabile (la struttura oltretutto offre il noleggio delle scarpette per camminare per la presenza dei ricci lungo gran parte degli scogli) dove godersi veramente la natura ed il mare in tutto il suo splendore.
Il problema della mancanza di corrente elettrica a Zanzibar è risaputo e non è sicuramente una mancanza da parte della struttura, ma sistematicamente dopo le 18:30 dopo l’entrata in funzione del generatore di emergenza, almeno nella mia stanza, è stato impossibile farsi una doccia con acqua calda.
La cosa è stata segnalata due volte, è intervenuta l’assistenza altrettante volte ma la cosa non è stata risolta.
Inoltre, un giorno ho lasciato colpevolmente le cuffie in palestra e la geolocalizzazione le faceva vedere in un villaggio nell’entroterra dell’isola, che a detta della reception, era la zona dove abitava un membro dello staff, ragion cui le cuffie sono state trovate e non sono state consegnate alla reception.
A quel punto mi è stato proposto di andare in quella zona con lo staff per recuperarle, operazione abbastanza folle considerando la non conoscenza della zona e delle persone che la abitano.
È triste pensare che episodi del genere siano capitati in un resort della caratura del nungwui dream, un peccato.

Genuinely lovely and friendly staff. Great facilities, and loved the fact that it wasn't an all inclusive so you could get out and experience the town.
Location was on the less developed side of nungwi which was perfect for us. There were lovely bars and restaurants on the north coast (about a 10 minute walk if you don't end up chatting to the locals - but you will!) but if you want to be in the heart of things the north west part of town was busier.
Also, taxis and tuk tuks were always available outside and were cheap and friendly if you wanted to go further afield or skip the walk.
Room was beautiful and the hotel facilities were first class.

The place was wonderful! 2 swimming pools, a few restaurants and bars, a nice area to walk by the beach. The view from my balcony was very pretty! Also, the staff is amazing. They are all so friendly and welcoming. You feel that those people are really happy to see you. Beautiful place 😍
Even though there are so many beautiful things in the hotel I personally couldn’t give them 5 stars. There’s nothing wrong with them, just it lucks some 5 stars hotel features.

The staff were also very friendly, courteous, and attentive. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would happily recommend the hotel .
lack of guidance on nearby attractions and activities. We unfortunately missed places like Nungwi Beach, which would have made our stay much more enjoyable
