The location on the map is far away from the real location, and quite far away from the center. And even though it is stated that it has a swimming pool, there is none.

Nothing special, honestly

Cons:

My booking was confirmed but when I got to the hotel, they told me my booking was late, and some of the number of rooms were sold. Some of my colleagues were forced to share room occupancy (twin beds), which was not comfortable at all, because the beds were quite small.

It was around 11pm, and the receptionist had the audacity of asking me to cancel the booking... Like seriously!

I will return someday to this second home inspite of the competition!
Pros:

If you are a breakfast person, this is a restaurant to be! There is variety on the menu. And it is fresh, nutritious and healthy. The staff are super friendly and helpful all around. This place is home away from home.

Cons:

I am struggling to find what I didn't like. Let me look for it, and return to you on this:). Perhaps, I should mention that there were no In-room microwaves in case of a night craving to eat or drink something:)

The most caring staff ever. They made sure we were comfortable and the food was incredible
Pros:

Breakfast was great and the dinner was even better. The chef was incredible and made food from the heart. Location was 10/10

Pros:

This was our third stay in 5 trips at the Akello. Good service, clean rooms and convenient. Restaurant was limited in their offerings but they are still recovering from covid. We booked through Expedia and while it worked the staff was a little confused. We would stay here again.
