Clean, comfortable hotel in Butwal
Pros:

Lets face it. Butwal is not a tourist destination or major foreign investment site. The hotel options are limited. At Darcy's you get a clean room, professional service, safe meals and privacy. Nothing is outstanding but the staff is friendly and everything is pleasant. The location means it is convenient but noisy. During our stay there was a communication issue between Darcy's and Orbitz. However, I was never inconvenienced and to my knowledge, the issue was worked out. Would recommend to anybody who wants a comfortable space to relax in the middle of a not very relaxing city.

Decent, Unaware of Orbitz
Pros:

Darcy’s is a decent place to stay next to the Buspark, but nothing special. Our room was large, the AC worked, and the restaurant is pretty good. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Being next to the buspark and also on a busy road, there was always noise. The management had no idea what Orbitz is and was skeptical that I had already paid for my room through Orbitz. This created some frustration, though in the end, they took my word that I had already paid. However, if a hotel is listed on Orbitz, I should not have to defend my Orbitz reservation at the hotel.

Weinig voor veel geld
Pros:

Ik had gereserveerd en voor het bedrag dat ik betaalde hoge verwachtingen. Bij aankomst in de middag moest ik een half uur wachten omdat men de reservering niet kon vinden. De kamer was groot met aparte badkamer met bad. In de badkamer was veel kapot. De kraan zat los, de plank boven de wastafel was afgebroken. Ik kreeg geen warm water uit de kraan.goedkope shampoo en een zeepje. Tapijt was oud en de muren waren geschilderd in weinig aantrekkelijke kleuren. Er was een flatscreen tv en een fles water, maar verder geen faciliteiten, geen waterkoker, slippers, badjas. Omdat ik een vroege bus had, ben ik om kwart over zes vertrokken. In de receptie alleen slapende mensen. Ik had alles betaald, dus ik heb de sleutel op de balie van de receptie gelegd. In het busstatation kwam een security medewerker me vertellen dat ik terug moest naar het hotel. Ik zou dan mijn bus missen, dus ik heb geweigerd.
