Whilst this is not a modern Hotel it is clean the staff are fantasic welcoming and warm.
Nice bar food available till 8.45pm bar staff also very friendly.

My room was on the ground floor and wirh the exception of the heavy curtains there was no privacy screen blinds or nets on the window.

Ursula at the main reception assisted and helped me confidently. Minute walked in , also the staff in the food restaurant on Sunday evening were nothing but pleasant . Different circumstances definitely be back again
The Mourne Country Hotel is a great place to stay and the breakfast and food offering are very good. The location on the edge of Newry is idéal for guests who have their car and there is ample parking. For guests who are using public transport, an hourly bus service (338a) provides a connection to and from Newry bus Centre at the stop outside the hotel entrance.

Room was small but had everything one would need. Just no privacy net curtain behind blackout curtains. Great staff, good food and comfortable stay
