Durma na Quinta do Paço melhor que no Hotel
Pros:

Aaa-dooo-rei. Eu que conheço tanta coisa em tanto sítio, adorei este Hotel, diferente de tudo. Desde a simpatia da Catarina, recepcionista, ao quarto, amplo e espaçoso, tudo. O pequeno almoço, embora não muito diversificado, era bom, não faltando o essencial. A piscina, uma maravilha para uns mergulhos depois de um dia de passeio com calor. O edifício lindíssimo, o mobiliário antigo igualmente bonito, e a garrafeira do restaurante composta por vinhos extraordinários. Todo o hotel, exterior e interior, lindíssimo e confortável, e a uns dois kms da Casa de Mateus, muito bem localizado numa das entradas de Vila Real, cidade pequena mas bonita, alegre, limpa e organizada, virada para o futuro. Vila Real surpreendeu-me muito positivamente e aquelas gentes transbordam simpatia. A voltar a estas paragens, será aqui que ficarei novamente, sem hesitações.

Cons:

Gostei de tudo, porque tudo é diferente do habitual e da monotonia dos hotéis, iguais em toda a parte.

Pros:

bel hôtel avec du cachet, beaux extérieurs.
intérieurs immenses, donc difficile sans doute à tout gérer.
de jolis petits salons, de l'authenticité, une âme.
piscine, entretien extérieur correct.
restauration sur place, joli cadre.

Cons:

dans la chambre, le balcon est encloisonné, dommage ! une fenêtre qui ouvre, soit, mais quand on arrive c'était un four ! pas du tout ventilé ...
des soucis avec la clim, qui fuyait par le plafond ! des flaques d'eau et ça a coulé sur les vêtements du placard attenant.. signalé, mais pareil le lendemain. Nous partions, donc nous avons laissé tomber.
la télécommande n'avait plus de piles, donc qq points "survolés" par le personnel je pense.
Pour l'accueil, pièce très exigüe et difficile d'accès avec des bagages, porte très étroite, peu pratique.
L'homme à la réception peu bavard, pas sympa du tout. n'a rien expliqué pour le petit déjeuner etc...
à se demander ce qu'il faisait à ce poste...
malgré tout, j'y reviendrais si besoin car c'est un bel établissement avec bcp de charme.

Une étape, rien de plus….
Pros:

Excellent petit déjeuner, très belle piscine.

Cons:

Accueil plutôt froid, voire même glacial… Nous avons la sensation de déranger cette jeune fille, qui semble privilégier la vue de ses tatouages à son sourire…quel dommage !!! Le sourire d’accueil est donc une option, non activée le jour de notre arrivée…
Dommage que le balcon soit fermé…peut-être faut-il privilégier les événements bruyants au détriment du confort d’un balcon ouvert…???
La chambre est spacieuse, mais quelque peu vieillissante….
Les prix du restaurant, nous incitent à rechercher un restaurant ailleurs…!!!

I want to come back.
Pros:

This is a fantastic place. The delicious traditional food served on-site, opulent palace vibes, lovely landscape and furnishings, welcoming staff and comfortable, cool and well-priced rooms were everything we wanted.

Cons:

There was a little confusion as to where we should check in -- as the ample parking area is far from the entrance -- but the staff's kindness and accommodating nature quickly dissolved that initial feeling of inconvenience.

A limpeza do quarto não estava à altura da exigência do espaço nem do preço. Cabelos na casa de banho pelo chão, radiador e lavatório.
