Bayview Hotel

When booking I left a note to say it was my dad's birthday - when he went into the room there was balloons and a card - lovely touch.

I liked Fiona who answered the phone and was polite and as helpful as can be. The view from our breakfast table.

I liked everything. The room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the sea, and the waves were crashing on the shore and rocks. Had GF corn flakes and soya milk with fresh fruit salad and coffee. The next morning, I had the same plus poached eggs and bacon. In the evenings, we had dinner at the hotel, and because of my food intolerances and the foods I don't eat anyway, I was able to omit certain items from the set menu. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Two photos were taken from the balcony of our room. We went to Derry for the day by train from Coleraine. 40 min journey: £15 return. Lovely day walking around the city.

We have just returned from a two day break at the Bayview Hotel. A very homely hotel with friendly & efficient staff, led by the owner, Trevor.It is worth booking a room with a view, at the front of the hotel. The food is delicious ..a great selection from the buffet & also for the cooked breakfast .Evening meal also gives guests plenty of choice.We look forward to a return visit very soon

Just back from an overnight stay here, as always such comfortable place to stay. In a cold January it is so warm and comforting. My advice would be book a bedroom with seaviews, it's worth it. Bedrooms are a good size and well appointed.
Enjoyed an excellent meal at night and a great breakfast.

The Bayview Hotel is nestled in a stunning spot with a lovely view of the sea. The cosy fire, as seen in the picture, is always burning, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere- especially on chilly days. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the service is consistently excellent. We've visited many times and look forward to coming back again and again.

The location was perfect, the views of the ocean were gorgeous. Room clean and presentable and was cosy and warm.

The Bayview is an excellent destination for food and drinks. Although we haven't stayed there since we have a house nearby, we're confident that the service and accommodations would be outstanding. The bar's decor is fresh, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, with fabrics that exude quality.

However, what truly stood out for us was the service that night. On a bustling New Year’s Eve, we were impressed by Trevor's professionalism as he moved around the room, ensuring that everyone was well taken care of. When we found ourselves in need of a ride back to Bushmills early in the early evening and the rain started pouring, he kindly arranged for Scott, the barman, to drive us home—making three trips! While we understand this is likely not the norm for customers it was greatly appreciated, especially since no taxis were available in the area.

An exceptional hotel. Staff led by Trevor are outstanding. All areas are spotlessly clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Bedroom was spacious. Food at both breakfast and dinner was delicious and a good range of choices. Views from seaview bedrooms and restaurant are magnificent. Would thoroughly recommend the Bayview.
