Hotel Palace Vlore

Nicht so freundlich, und nicht der Preiss wert.

We love this place! Staff is awesome and helpful! Special thanks to Mary/Beri (?), the lovely receptionist.
The room is clean and the bathroom is nice and spacious. The best part of the hotel is it’s strategic place! Near the supermarket, the center of Valona and the beachside.
Will come back here for sure

The location is perfect of the main traffic and some good restaurants . Very good hotel and very clean rooms . The room are beautiful big and quiet .
The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The brekfast is very good and fresh. Everything was nice . I recommend.

La ubicación nos gustó. Es un viaje de negocios. Le reservamos 5 habitaciones y le pedimos que por favor una la cancele por fuerza mayor y se nego.

Una estafa con todas las letras. Reservamos 5 rooms al momento de reservar llame a Expedia porque un huesped no podia viajar para que por favor cancelaran la reserva a pesar de saber que era no reembolsable. 14 noches era la reserva y no nos quiso ni devolver la mitad de la reserva una estafa. 1500€ que nos robo.

Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. The room was not as nice as pictured on booking.com. The room had no terrace, while this was listed as included at the time of booking. Very small and crammed bathroom, fitting max 1 person at the same time. Barely internet connection in the room. Staff were probably the least friendly people we met in Albania. Very small breakfast buffet with food not looking fresh or appetizing at all. Overall a very disappointing for what is supposed to be a ‘4 star’ hotel. Would not recommend.

Hotel staff don't wear uniforms and it's hard to establish who actually works there and who doesn't. The rooms are very spacious although the marble effect makes it look rather cold and empty. We've requested a room away from the lift but got given one right next to the lift. Unfortunately the doors are not insulated therefore you can hear everything and everyone outside and your sleep quality does go down. Our TV did not work and the cleaner failed to give us any toilet paper when cleaning the room after the 1st night. The shower only comes with a shower head attached to the ceiling so you can forget having a shower without wetting your hair. don't get me started on the breakfast. Again, no staff wear uniform and we didn't even realize the miserable,older lady who gave us an evil eye when we walked in actually worked there.the breakfast room is really dated and the food on offer in horrendous, apart from the fresh watermelon. The coffee machine must be 20 years old and it took me 3 attempts to fill 1 coffee cup. The sausages were so gross I had to spit it out after 1 bite. We skipped breakfast next morning and just got a yogurt and a banana from the supermarket just next door. Our room was advertised as a room with balcony but there was no balcony.

We stay in a historical area in Ulcinj. The hotel is at the hill top in the old town, good, seaview, service are good.

Stayed here for 1 night when doing a tour. The accommodation is clean and the bed is good. The bathroom I had was a bid strange. They tried to squeeze in a full bathroom but the use of it was not comfortable. the stairways are dark and dangerous because of the black materials. The dinner I had there was so so. The breakfast is a bit poor. Good for just 1 night. Not for longer time if you want to enjoy the beach because it takes a long walk to go there.

Value for money wasn't great; the hotel is not near the beach. We were unclear why anyone built a hotel in the middle of nothing; there are not even any restaurants nearby. We didn't expect much from the staff and they met our expectations. Breakfast was absolutely dreadful. Bed was hard and furniture was ugly, but room was functional

We stayed in the hotel Palace for one night as part of a tour. The hotel is newish (built in 2016 I think) and good in every way with great aircon, lovely bathroom, large rooms and a very nice breakfast

Rooms ok but the lighting in the corridors and stairwells difficult to find. Stairs are black and awkward shapes and therefore quite dangerous in the gloom. The lights also went out when we were in the lift which was worrying to say the least. Restaurant also not open in the evenings as advised.

the hotel is good. the rooms are tidy and cleaned every day. the only problem is the sea is not 750 m away. it takes about 20 minutes to get to the new city beach. the staff is friendly and helpful but do not try to arrange a late check out - they will never bother ask their management.

First of all there is no signs directing you to the hotel. Not much chance for accidental guests. Unless you know it is there or somebody recommends it you will never find it.
Everything is looking very new, well furnished and clean. Parking space very limited. Room was clean and spacious but position of air-conditioning vents was over the bed which we found disturbing.
Check-in was quick and friendly, bar service only acceptable, price for drinks in the bar exaggerated. Breakfast is a different story. Not adequate for the level of the Hotel is understatement. Selection and quality very poor, service at breakfast under any acceptable level. Staff was standing behind the bar, not interested about the breakfast. When we pointed out that they run out of something, staff went for it (not very enthusiastic) and somebody finally brought it but just for our table, not for all the guests! (Although they weren’t many)
All together definitely not a 4* hotel. But neither is the price. For one night with (lousy) breakfast in center of Vlore for 3 (three) people only 65 EUR!
I would rate is 3.5 if I could but considering value for money I decided for rate 4.

Don't go to this hotel !

One hour late check out costs us 50 euros it's a racket please don't go !!

I took time to write my comments in 3 languages so imagine how I was upset !

1. Breakfast is extremly poor.
2. Rooms have small drawers and not enought place for our clothes
3. The electrical power goed and no alternative provided for hours
4. If the lift has problems you need to use stairs 8th floors
5. Conditioning has big problems as it is positioned over dhe bed
6. Parking is in open air and too small, so you may find it full
7. Price they require is not justified for the service offered and too high for Vlora.
I will never come back again
