Tanzanite Beach Resort

Les repas n’étaient pas très variés.
Attention la plage n’est pas faite de sable blanc au bord mais il suffit de mettre des chaussures de plage et de marcher 5 mètres pour atterrir dans une eau cristalline digne des plus beaux endroits et le plus c’est que nous étions presque seuls au monde

Bar wasn’t always stocked and often didn’t have drinks that were requested.
Would have been nice to have a buffet for the all inclusive lunch and dinner.

Hôtel beaucoup trop cher pour le service proposé !
- Payée 800e pour 4 jours en demi pension, petit déjeuner incomplet, très peu de choix. Et au dîner, on nous annonce que nous avons le droit qu’a une seule entrée, un seul plat & un seul dessert. La boisson est a notre charge ( en demi pension c’est du jamais vu).
- pas d’eau chaude puis plus d’eau du tout.
- pas de frigo ni d’eau à notre arrivée.
- j’avais demandé une deco pour l’occasion de notre lune de miel & rien avait été fait alors qu’on m’avait dis par mail que le nécessaire allait être fait.
- la propreté des chambres & surtout de la salle de bain juste lamentable ( excrément sur la brosse à wc..)
- piscine avec eau salée.

Bien évidement rien de tout ça n’est précisé.
Aucune remise en question de la part de la manager & aucun geste commercial à voulu être fait malgré la réclamation. .

The only suggestion we have is that the swimming pool is quite large for kids, so it would be great if they could have a dedicated, smaller pool for children

The food could use some improvement overall, from breakfast through to dinner. Breakfast options were quite limited, and dinner menus felt a bit repetitive — potatoes featured heavily, sometimes prepared two or three different ways in a single sitting.
A small tip for future guests: it’s a good idea to keep track of your own drink orders. Somewhere between the waiting staff and reception, there seemed to be a bit of confusion during our stay — nothing major, but worth noting.
Overall, the experience was pleasant.

Breakfast needs work.
Small kettle for hot drinks which takes ages to boil like a travel kettle.
Instant coffee !! Not what you want at a quality hotel.
Strange breakfast selection which you kind of make the most of , then when half way through they ask if you want an omelette ? Why not ask at the start when being seated ?
Rooms need maintenance , ie ours and neighbours doors broken and wouldn’t lock. Maintenance came out to bodge them again.
Ate in the evening once which was expensive compared to other places. Glad we were only bed and breakfast as would have been really bored eating here morning and evenings.
Maybe we paid over the odds as booked at short notice ?!
Oh yes, no place to wash feet after beach so you walk sand back into accommodation which made it very dirty. Cleaners must be working overtime with all the sand in rooms. Easy fix required.

Peut être le petit déjeuner (croissant, pain ou Brioche par exemple qui n'était pas disponible mais nous étions en basse saison). Et le personnel nous a servi d'autres choses qui était aussi bon et dépaysant 😄

it would help if the property advised guests to pack Aqua shoes as there's a lot of rocks and urchins in the beach outside the resort.
Rooms are not very comfortable, my kids room had only a bed and coffee table we requested a chair but was never brought.
They never replenish the toilet paper so we had to go request it and when it came it was one roll for a room with two people, this continued throughout our stay. Towels were not replaced too and we had to request every time we needed fresh ones.

BREAKFAST - Terrible, fresh grilled veggies, potato fried chips, bread and egg every day. Fruits were like two or tree kinds and very limited so if your the later than the start time you will not have. they had croissants (very hard and off) a few kinds of baked pastry. also had conflates and one other serial with no yoghurt.
lack or shortage of cutlery, they put food there and there won't be spoons or even the plates, should you request for anything it will be brought to you in 30 to 60 min while you trying to eat your breakfast.

Dinner - another terrible experience, potatoes in different forms, small pieces of chicken you won't even recognise which part it is. very limited food as if they don't know the number of their guests, even worse for New Years party. They wrote a set menu but there was nothing as promised, very disappointing and my kids hated it.

The breakfast is very poor, this type of hotel must have a way better!

Po Zanzibaru jsem cestovaly zhruba tři týdny. Tento resort byl poslední, kde jsme chtěli nabrat sílu před odjezdem domu. Další 4 předchozí ubytování byly pomalu za poloviční cenu s jiným standardem. Když to tedy porovnám s těmi předchozími ubytováními tak tady: ani jedou nám nevystříkaly pokoj proti komárům (všude jinde běžná praxe), jeden den nám nadaly vůbec ručníky, druhý den jeden ručník 🥴, při příjezdu nebyl welcome drink ani mokrý ručník (všude jinde standard), snídaně rozmanitosti na takový resort dost ubohá - za vajíčko či párek si musíte připlatit což jinde rovněž nebylo.
Sečteno a podtrženo, je to krásný resort ale jinak pst na turisty. Za hodně peněz málo muziky. Sem se bohužel už nevrátíme.
