I enjoyed all the excellent options at the hotel. Kayaking, swimming, dancing on the dock. The food was great for breakfast and dinner. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
It’s not what is pictured online. We showed up and were immediately disappointed. You must like fish if you plan on staying the night. We had to eat the same pasta dish four times. The menu doesn’t change and is very limited. The cocktails are overpriced and not tasty. There is no garden area. The rooms are hot and there is no warm water. You will be told multiple times by staff that your payment does not include tip. The island doesn’t have much to do so I would actually recommend just doing a day trip. The beaches here are ok but only on one side of the island where it’s not windy.
Worst nightmare of a “hotel” experience. The Rosario Islands are beautiful, but this place totally marred our experience. Sleeping in a moldy room with a trickle of water coming from the shower and a damp mattress; they would not even give us fresh towels after we were promised them; we had to ask for soap. I would not wish this place on anyone. We heard the islands are “rustic” but we were seriously scared about mold and bed bugs. No AC, soap or shampoo/conditioner. The location is not ideal (20+ minute walk to any beach), and for the same price we’ve payed for beautiful stays in Colombia! Any hostel would be preferable to this. Stay away
The Echo Hotel Casa Blanca was such a beautiful and affordable location! The best thing about this place was all the staff that worked there and the perfect view! We stayed in the 9th room- biggest room that’s holds 5 people and also has amazing views and was very clean considering the rooms are made for the air and nature to peek through.
The cook Carlos was very talented and the food was great! The manager Roberto was the sweetest and even let me borrow his shoes when my sandals cut into my skin and I didn’t have another pair. This hotel may not have a beach but there was no need with the large dock and they also gave us tips and discounts on fun activities on the island.
They recommended going scuba diving and it was one of the best experience of my life! I highly recommend it, and the divers were very sweet and patient when they were teaching us. I felt extremely safe and relaxed! This place isn’t a fancy resort but it’s more of an escape from the busy world or the city and it was very tranquil.
I will have to make a trip back! ❤️
I can honestly say that this is by far one of the best places I have stayed during my travels. Roberto and his staff we absolutely helpful and kind. I only stayed for one night but the people here made me feel like home. I’m happy chose this place. If you ever visit Isla Grande, I would highly recommend to stay in Casa Blanca!!
Gracias Roberto !
