Had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Flagstaff Hotel. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The place itself is beautiful, comfortable, and has such a welcoming atmosphere—but what really made the experience stand out was the people and the food.
The food was excellent throughout—top quality, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. It really added to the whole experience.
Gary, the owner, couldn’t have been more accommodating—genuinely friendly, approachable, and clearly takes great pride in the place. Regina, the manager, was equally impressive—professional, attentive, and always on hand to make sure everything was perfect.
It’s rare to find a place where you feel so well looked after, and that’s down to the standard they both set. I couldn’t recommend the Flagstaff Hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning

Stunning views
The room was big and very bright. Lovely comfortable bed, staff were so helpful, friendly, and homely. We just loved the place and are going back in the summer. The food in the bar is second to none and we had a super breakfast with plenty of choice. Thanks to everyone at the Flagstaff Lodge.
