Stunning, eclectic & quirky; a refreshing break from the cookie cutter decor of many other places. 2 week stay, 1st the yellow house, then complimentary upgrade to the blue house for the remaining few days due to an error with a double booking.
Our settings in Expedia are 2 adults, 2 children. We were surprised to receive an unexpected bill for our 2 children. The email confirmation does indeed say 2 adults. So definitely be sure to check this setting in Expedia before you check in w kids.
Hosts are lovely but we asked for a needle and thread that never arrived, asked about a birthday cake, one magically appeared at dinner – no discussion about cost or flavour so I was a little surprised at the 640 baht price on the final bill (it WAS very delicious). They mentioned a place the kids could make Krathongs for the festival, never heard anything etc etc..
The yellow house could do with a latch on the inside that is lower so that a child (or short adult) can access the bathroom. The Blue house better set up for families w a semi-outdoor kitchen and a table. a beautiful spot to sit for a snack and cuppa.
It seems a missed opportunity not to offer kids the option to be involved with feeding and helping with the animals, our girls would have loved to feed the chickens, horse etc.
Really anything negative you experience here pales in significance to the stunning surroundings. It is a very relaxing beautiful place to spend your time and we would stay here again.

Une guesthouse à l’écart de la ville dans un écrin de verdure et de bien être. Sérénité et dépaysement assurés pour déconnecter de tout. Le prix des services extérieurs proposés par l’hôtel sont élevés (transit aéroport ou ville hors de prix, comme les pâtisseries excellentes mais au tarif parisien).

Magnifique établissement loin de l'agitation de Chiang Mai. Les maisons sont superbes et dans un écrin de verdure, à 20mn environ de la ville en voiture.
Il faut savoir que les maisons n'ont pas de fenêtre et qu'il y a pas mal d'animaux (poules, coq, oiseaux,...), donc attention à ceux qui ont le sommeil léger ! Les nuits peuvent être bruyantes. Nous avons même eu le passage d'un serpent dans notre salle de bain mais Paul et son équipe ont gentiment proposé de nous changer de maison.

Quand nous sommes venus la piscine avait malheureusement tourné à une couleur verdâtre. En dehors de ces petits désagréments le cadre est vraiment sympa.

I found it. And more. This is more than a hotel! Design and construction is a work of ART by someone with a lot of heart.
