Pros:

This hotel is located on a quiet stetch of beach. I like the comfort of having a morning coffee right at the bistro with the gentle morning sea breeze. Our stay was comfortable although very short but worth it.

Pros:

Beautiful setting on the beach. View from our room (King Fish) was fantastic. Great restaurant on site.

Cons:

Our time at the hotel was great. Might have been nice to be closer to other restaurants but Bistro was really good. Only issue was with the car transfer arranged by the hotel to take us to Flores. There appeared to be a scam at the Guatemala border which involved us being required to pay USD125 extra to continue our journey due to "vehicle paperwork" and our driver did nothing to help (or was involved). We did not pay and instead had to hitch a ride from some kind American tourists. The hotel gave us a partial refund of the prepaid taxi fare to reflect the shorter journey actually provided.

If you’re not picky about cleanliness, and facilities, you can’t best the location of the one bedroom studio. Restaurant
Pros:

Location. Right on the beach. Stayed in Dreamsicle lower level. Restaurant had decent food.

Cons:

Air conditioning started leaking on the bed at 11 pm first night we arrived after a long day. Didn’t get fixed. Shower had mold and mildew so I wouldn’t use it. They didn’t have toilet paper holder—had to reach behind on top of tank to grab a roll. Checked out after second day-had to demand a refund which they “approved” but to to-date—1–1/2 weeks—haven’t received. Had to file dispute with credit card company. Restaurant hard to get into. Must make reservations.

Quiet in the middle of nowhere.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good..they had an item called a jack which was reminiscent of soapillas from New Mexico.
The people working in the restaurant were fantastic, Hugh was an asset.
You could walk to the bowlingling alley-no bowling but the food was really good.
You could also walk to the Green Parrot.

Cons:

Not the fault of the hotel...just the location which was the same of all the hotels and resorts..you needed transportation for everything.

Clean comfortable modern rooms right on the beach with beautiful sunrise.
Pros:

Location to the beach and proximity to Placencia Village. The bar and dining staff were great.
