B14 Apartments & Rooms

Did not expect a communal kitchen area to be shared amongst other guests
In the Individual room , found that the bathroom / toilet area was a bit small
Would have been nice to have shower & toilet separate
Maybe if the rooms were larger - there would be ample room to store ones clothes in cupboards
Maybe a safety deposit safe in the room would be handy too

camere piccolissime, non c'era spazio per aprire una valigia, una camera per 4 persone con 1 bagno di 1mq è impossibile

Para los que llevamos maletas grandes y pesadas subir y bajar tres pisos sin ascensor es duro, podían hacer la habitación diariamente igual que si hacen la cocina, y por último las cañerías huelen fatal cuando pones el agua caliente, cosa que no nos ha pasado en otros alojamientos (hoteles) que hemos estado en Reikiavik

We did have a fire alarm wake us from the flat down stairs due to the shared kitchen on each floor however this did not spoil the stay. Very good location and modern rooms would definitely book again!

Bed bugs. Me and my partner both bitten and left with rasches on our skin.
Not pleasant smell.
Not pleasant looking stairs on way up to room.
Bathroom tiny. Shower tiny.
Nobody to check us in, have to rely on phonecalls to main HQ.

There is bad drainage which caused a smell in the bathroom when the water was running. However I don’t think there is anything they can do about this.

1. To enter the building you have a code, however the keypads are very temperamental and it can take several attempts for it to correctly register the number you enter. At one point during our trip we ended up locked out of the apartment because the keypad was not working.

2. There are no lifts and the apartments are up multiple flights of stairs. Which can be difficult with heavy suitcases.

3. Our room smelt very odd for the duration of our stay.

4. The bedsheets were of poor quality. Heavily used and bobbling. In addition to this, one of the pillows had a stain on it that looked like dried old blood - we obviously just took that pillow off the bed and slept with others but it made us feel quite gross and uncomfortable for the whole stay.

5. The bathrooms are tiny and rather impractical.

6. I did not realise that for the whole stay (we booked for 4 nights) there would be no cleaning service / no fresh towels etc. We had 1 small towel each for the whole stay.

Shower and sink in bathroom were small.

Only small dislike but it may be just my preference I wasn’t too keen on the pillows in our room

É necessário subir 3 pisos de escadas para aceder ao quarto. Quando chegámos, o sofá cama não estava montado e deixaram roupa de cama não adequada para o mesmo. O chuveiro tem a torneira estragada sendo difícil ligar a água.

1. Unhygienic couch with a large brownish red stain and also causing minor itch on my back after sitting on the 'non-stained' side. The couch was totally unusable throughout my entire stay.
2. Bedsheet and cover was plentiful of human hair strains.
3. Renovation taking place in adjacent rooms, too much noise due to wall drillings and hammerings.
4. The room was code/keyless entry. Someone accessed my room without permission during my stay.
5. Stayed 6 nights but towels only changed once. No housekeeping...
