The hotel was 10min walkable from Belarussky train station, and can be preferred by people who like walking (and saving some cab waiting time & charges as well). The locality was calm & clean. The map location was not exact as it made me reach an adjacent street but not far away. The room was clean and suitable for a solo traveller like me, though it looked bigger in the pic checked during booking, and the bathroom was too small. The breakfast spread was fine, and the interiors of the restaurant/dining area were nicely done. The hotel has two floors, but no lift. Overall a nice stay.
Great experience.
Good service from hotel even after check out and return to the UK.
Absolutely not the pictures you see in the add.
Far from the subway.
Front desk w poor english
No hair dryer :(
In my own experience, the room that I was accommodated is not shown on the pictures, LITERALLY we had to take out the trash from bathroom to close the door and use it, it is a very small room, booked on December for a stay on June for worldcup, overpriced for the size of the room, it supposed to be room for 2 and it only fit for one, not space at all and we payed more than $1000 usd, for 3 nights. Not even the bed cover fit for the 2 of us, it was more for a twin bed than queen or full. Food is good at the restaurant it is the only good thing I could say they have. They also were working doing so updates to the hotel, and never stop noise started early morning and finished late!, like very late. Nothing was walking distance not restaurantes, stores, etc. only train.
Don't recommend it, I would if the price would be like $100 usd /night, yes it was the world cup, but we also visit St. Petersburg and stayed in a bigger room, very good location 2 blocks from st. Isaac's church for almost half of the price, so World cup is not an exception for the price we paid.
Customer service does not exist in this place. The room is extremely small.
Although the the location was superb for an event of that magnitude, the hotel room was no more than 200 sq ft and the shower as toilet were together. No drainage and the room smell like mold. No other rooms available of refund options for the inconvenience.
Where do I start! In the beginning we encountered so many issues with this hotel. Our taxi driver couldn’t find the location. He kept telling us we arrived at our destination. All we saw was an abandoned building. I kept telling him this was not the place. The language barrier did not help at all. After 10 minutes of trying to find the hotel someone told us the hotel was in the back. We walked all around the building and there it was. We were excited to finally arrive as our flight was 12 hours long. We just wanted to rest. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke a little english. We had to take out our phones every 2 minutes and pull up the google translator app to help us. We checked in and now we are walking to the room. We received the biggest surprise as soon as we opened the door. Omg! The room was extremely small. Nothing compared to the pictures we saw online. I requested two beds and they only gave us a twin bed. The bathroom was super tiny as well. It smelled like straight urine which was disgusting. Everything was connected, you could use the restroom and shower at the same time. There was no shower curtain. I was extremely disappointed. I did not know how I was going to survive five days there. I guess after the third day it was like whatever. Every day there was construction going on from like 8am to 8pm which was annoyin The pros were that the hotel had very helpful staff, it was located in a safe city and it was walking distance to a lot of places.
It is ok for one or two nights, won’t reccomend it for a longer stay.
Very noisy, poor wifi, road work all around, you simply cannot wear shoes for a business meeting and cab cannot come to the door. Also if you are tired after the flight you cannot sleep during a day because of constraction noise outside.
wc and shower is terrible..address has to be defined clearly because it is a bit hard to find the entrance of the hotel
The room was a bit small but clean. There is good wi-fi and a nice restaurant/bar downstairs.
I stayed for one night, as I needed to go to Sheremetievo (SVO) airport in a morning with Aeroexpress from Belorusskaya train station. The hotel is 5-10 min from Belorusskaya in a quiet, safe area. The room was small, but clean, warm and quiet, the bathroom was small with a shower and with toiletries and sleepers provided, the bed was comfortable. There was a TV with all channels in Russian. The hotel has a restaurant and an optional breakfast, which I didn't have.
The only issue was that the hotel address does not correspond to the location, as the entrance is from a side street. The hotel needs to put an arrow sign from Lesnaya street to the hotel, as it's not on Lesnaya.
Overall, an excellent choice for the price and convenience!
