Beautiful and grand hotel.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel. Room was super comfortable. Staff are very welcoming and professional. The location is perfect for a romantic stroll along the river with restaurants, cafes and bars nearby.

Cons:

Of course, it's a 5 star hotel, so don't expect cheap prices.

Friendly and comfortable
Pros:

Beautiful hotel with a super friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable. Pool was a good bonus. Breakfast was nice with a good selection although I missed fried eggs and citrus fruit.

Cons:

This is only a minor detail, but the bathroom door opened the wrong way causing water to spill over the bathroom floor. Hairdrier was of low quality.

Pros:

We stayed in the terrace room and it was truly wonderful. The staff were kind, and even surprised my boyfriend with a written note and dessert for his birthday. Cleanliness was 10/10, the room was very spacious, and you can't beat having a large balcony especially when the sun is out. It is pricey, but for a special occasion or if the budget allows, it's definitely worth it!

Quasi nulla…

Cons:

Prezzo esorbitante, non giustificato, l hotel è diviso in 3 stabili, solo uno di questi è storico, un secondo stabile è collegato da una passerella sospesa ed infine c era il nostro, dove si doveva passare letteralmente sulla strada per raggiungere tutto: il bar/ristorante, la reception e la spa.
Il posteggio è stato il piú caro della mia vita (abito in Svizzera e ho girato il mondo) ma 65 euro a notte non l ho visto da nessuna parte, il posteggio mi è costato piú del noleggio.
La tv non funzionava al nostro arrivo, la stanza sembrava quella di un airport hotel, nulla di speciale, fredda e austera, solo il letto era al livello di un 5 stelle, ma i cuscini no, posizione scomoda, personale freddo, alle colazioni c era tutto il minimo indispensabile per un 5 stelle, ma i bicchieri e le posate erano sporche!!!
La spa e la piscina sono patetiche, giusto una casella da spuntare per avere le 5 stelle!!!
Ah.. abbiamo anche cenato al ristorante la prima sera perche eravamo stanchi, accettabile, ma nulla di che, non da 5 stelle…

Great hotel, and location for exploring Amsterdam
Pros:

The hotel is in a great location with loads of lovely restaurants close by, and overlooking the river. The hotel breakfast was lovely with lots of variety. Staff were super helpful and I would definitely stay here again.

Pros:

Het hele hotel is super maar het personeel is zo vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dat kom je tegenwoordig nietveel meer tegen. Ontbijt was trouwens ook uitermate goed verzorgd.

Cons:

Slechte WiFi en geen mogelijkheid tot streamen op tv. In deze tijd zou dit echt moeten kunnen .
