It is far from being a 5 star hotel
Pros:

The staff were friendly.

Cons:

The rooms were small. The elevator always smelled like raw eggs. No big windows.

A good stay at this hotel in Amsterdam
Pros:

Liked the room, very comfortable. The hotel has a nice property building(s). Great shower and amenities.

Cons:

Breakfast was ok, wasn’t wowed. Could use some more variety. Location requires some walking to the nearest tram or metro stations. The room AC panel was difficult to handle in order to change the temperature.

Not a 5 star hotel.
Pros:

The building the hotel is in is beautiful.

Cons:

Staff is extremely rude and unhelpful. We had three separate requests and unapologetically they denied all of those and didn’t try to help. No ability to connect your iPhone to tv is unacceptable for 5 star hotel. No smart tv with limited Dutch channels. The rooms are dated. We were checking out and the staff didn’t acknowledge that we were departing. Terrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend.

Mooi hotel maar niet zo gemakkelijk te bereiken.
Pros:

Heel mooi hotel in een prachtig pand. Smaakvol ingerichte kamers met alle faciliteiten.

Cons:

Er was door het personeel op voorhand meegedeeld dat het hotel makkelijk bereikbaar was, maar 5 min wandelen van het metro station. Dat bleek in realiteit een stevige wandeling van 20 minuten te zijn, waardoor we heel wat tijd verloren hebben. Erg jammer.

Pros:

Great historical building, nice decor, nice breakfast, lovely garden for breakfast and nice staff

Cons:

The air con was a bit loud, but they fixed it the next day. Also the pillows could be more confortable
