Barranco is a great place to stay in Lima, Casa Republica is a great hotel on the best street
Pros:

Location, charm, staff. And great breakfast. Beautiful garden, rooftop bar and lovely rooms.

Cons:

Stupid and inane music which could be heard everywhere at all hours

Good for couple of days
Pros:

The staff are so friendly and very welcoming. The place itself makes us feel like we’re at home. Breakfast is good. The room is clean, also the bed and the pillows are comfortable. We like the location.

Cons:

The room is OK not the best compared to the price. There is big space in the bathroom that not really needed which I think much better if they added it to the room size “it’s a waste of space “. The room needs more light, and the curtains need to be replaced.

Xmas stay with great staff and a lovely room
Pros:

The room was great. The breakfast was certainly good although coffee from an automatic machine rather than someone making an espresso was a disappointment. Staff were great. The decor and the garden added a lot

Cons:

The automatic coffee machine at breakfast which meant that we had to go out and buy a decent coffee. We ate in the restaurant one night and that was good but a bit below expectations

Muy lindo lugar que creo que con mejoras sería muy bueno.
Pros:

El barrio donde se encuentra es muy lindo. Está a cuadra y media de un mirador al mar. Es una casona/palacio antiguo reciclado con muy buen gusto. Tiene un jardín en el centro que es el lugar elegido para el desayuno (muy variado) y comidas.

Cons:

Habitación algo pequeña con escaso lugar de guardado. La aislación acústica no es muy buena. Nos explicaron que es un tema que buscan mejorar. Una de las habitaciones necesitaría alguna ventilación además del a/c. El problema que tiene es que estaba a metros del jardín y se escuchaba a los huéspedes desde horas tempranas hablando a viva voz.

Extremely helpful staff, fantastic rooftop bar, lovely breakfast, beautiful courtyard and a perfect location for exploring Barranco as well as being so close to Miraflores. Excellent value for money.

Edificio singular en barrio de Barranco
Pros:

Arte por todas partes en un edificio colonial muy bien ubicado, en el barrio de barranco, que es un placer pasear y está lleno de buenas ofertas culinarias. La terraza es un placer.

Cons:

La habitación me pareció un poco justa para la calidad general del establecimiento. El desayuno con poca opción.
