Everything! The location is great, so easy to get everywhere. The decor is so fun and classy! The rooms were a great size perfect for a girls trip! We will be back.
Nothing
We loved mostly everything about this hotel. Staff was very friendly...rooms were clean.
The room size was small and there was not a lot of space for three people to put their stuff. Also, the noise at night was a bit much.
Room 314 they 1st gave me. Looked out over AC units and a gravel roof. Wall and headboard kept shaking periodically & learned a laundry chute was behind our room wall. Got moved to another room.
I liked it overall but parking was too much. It was 75 for one day
It was fine
Staff is excellent!
Atmosphere
Location & cleanliness
Upon walking in, you’re greeted by a warm welcome from staff. The decor and lighting in the hallway were beautiful and truly showing the character or the building. Location is great (5 minute walk to broadway). The bed and pillows are super comfy and clean, and the bathrooms are big. The live entertainment at the bar was also great to sit and have a drink. Throughly enjoyed my stay!
Location was great! The room was clean, but small. The staff was helpful. The lobby was beautiful.
They quoted us $67 per night for valet parking, which was more expensive than properties surrounding it and the final bill came out to $76 per night.
The property was so much more charming than a normal chain hotel. It was located just far enough from Broadway that the noise level was not bad overnight, but close enough to easily walk into the middle of everything in three or four minutes. The room was very comfortable and clean. Our fellow guests were very nice and the hotel itself was very quiet.
I do have to report that on our last night, we witnessed a shooting from our 9th floor window. It happened maybe a 100 or 200 feet from the front door of the hotel at 2:45 in the morning. At no time did we feel unsafe in Nashville or at the hotel. Apparently a fight broke out at a club nearby and it spilled into the street and there was a large volley of shots. Any big city can be dangerous at 2:45 am especially when it stays up late partying the way Nashville does. There is a big police presence on Broadway but it seemed to thin out after 2 and in the direction of the hotel. According to news reports of the incident, the club where it happened has experienced trouble before. It is not on Broadway and we did not have to walk by it on the way back to the hotel. Anyway, I wrestled with whether to include this in my review because it is not the hotel’s fault. It is not reflected in my ratings of the hotel. I mention it here simply to share that if you are out late in Nashville (which we absolutely recommend), consider imposing a 2 am curfew on yourself, stick to Broadway and walk back to Holston House on Broadway (it’s super close).
Nothing. The hotel was great.
Located in the heart of Nashville, convenient location.
Some of the staff were incredibly rude and there were issues with charges to my credit card. For the cost of the hotel, there are so many better options to stay at Nashville. I would never stay here again.
This place is beautiful; it's like going back in time, yet the rooms are modern industrial. They have a slice of heaven on the roof top pool. Close to Broadway without the noise or smells. The restaurant had a great breakfast and the bar was comfortable with excellent live music (thanks Ashton Butler!)
I wish it was slightly cheaper, but I want that for anything I buy. Other than that, everything else was on point.
