Great location. Room was cool.
Very expensive and was looking directly at another hotel, room was above kitchen extraction fan so smelled of oil/grease.
Third time at this hotel. Just around the corner from Broadway. The reception and bar area are relatively small , but has a nice vibe. Rooms are a decent size. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. The valets who run a very efficient service.
Nothing to dislike
The location to broadway.
No parking, had to pay for parking. Room was cramped and small. Everything but breathing cost extra. Hotel didn’t really have amenities.
Location was perfect. We were 1 block from Broadway. The room was clean and fully stocked for our stay. TENN served a great brunch too.
Valet was extremely high at $68 per day. There was also an additional $30 per day destination fee added to our room. I did not know of these two extra costs when I booked.
Staff.
Additional fees, cost for parking. Inability to access pool bc of the crowds.
Walking distance was superb for enjoying downtown Nashville! Loved the craft cocktails served in the evening to guests, including the recipe cards. The breakfast was exceptional; the best coffee I have ever had was the salted caramel iced coffee. Spen our afternoons poolside, and those were the vest pina coladas in comparison to the entire strip!
Towel service was early afternoon for housekeeping, so we would grab a towel from the pool for fresh dry towels.
Nice distance to bars on broadway
I thought the pool was in ground floor and bigger. Probably should have paid more attention to the details
Employees in the TENN restaurant were extremely nice and the food was fantastic (this was the included breakfast if you pay for that option!)
Front desk staff was not helpful or nice
Talk about pricy…259 a night… then they add 30.00 a day for room service.
Listen to this… they only have valet parking next door. I did not even ask the cost. Big mistake… my car was there a total of 38 hrs… 151.00!!!!
Never again will I stay there for a hard bed too. The pool water was cloudy also.
Close to everything . Really appreciated the daily water, iced tea, & or lemonade in reception!! It was hot when we visited.
We paid for the breakfast package but didn’t care for the Tenn restaurant where you ate it. Pancakes were rubbery, toast wasn’t toasted enough-menu more to a brunch offering, not enough “breakfast “ variety of choices
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is very nice and the lobby bar makes some very good espresso martinis. The valet service was great and Wyatt and William were fantastic and very helpful.
We were very happy with this choice of hotel. The location was very convenient. The room and bathroom was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was some street noise but not excessive at all didn't bother us. We ate breakfast at Tenn two times and the food was very good. The staff was very friendly as well.
My wife and I spent the weekend at the Holston House. We arrived just in time for late afternoon complimentary cocktails in the lobby, a nice daily ritual. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with average furnishings and decor. In light of Nashville’s vibrant party scene, I was worried about noise in the corridors from nighttime revelers, but the hotel has a “quiet time” after 9:00 p.m. and remarkably, it was dead quiet both nights. The rooftop bar and pool are a nice amenity, but the pool is somewhat small and shallow (not suitable for lap swims); Friday at 5 pm the pool was relatively empty, but on hot Saturday afternoon, it was too crowded. The fitness room in the basement is on the small side, but there is adequate equipment for a good workout. The hotel is a few blocks from the riverside running trail, which goes for many miles and is a great amenity for runners. The hotel is also just a few blocks from all the action on Broadway. The hotel provided two complimentary tickets to the nearby Frist Museum, which we enjoyed. The hotel bar had live music both Friday and Saturday nights; it was also a relaxed venue to watch the World Cup over drinks. This was our first visit to Nashville, and I was impressed with the astounding number of huge hotels downtown. We generally prefer a boutique hotel, and the Holston House nicely fit the bill.
Clean, easy to access, great location, amazing desk staff, management and an exceptional valet team.
Only complaint would be size of the room. They’re a bit on the small side, especially if you get a king bed.
Outside of that, I have literally nothing negative to say about this hotel.
Small rooms. No storage space . Didn’t feel very clean.. felt old and humid
