City centre hotel used as a base for round trip to desert.
Pros:

The room was well set up, with a lovely sitting area, a bath with a shower overhead and a separate toilet with a wash hand basin, along with wardrobes and a long narrow dressing area. The bedroom 415 was of enhanced quality.
The 9th floor restaurant had a lovely view across the city.
We ate in both restaurants and the food was good. The prices reasonable.

Cons:

There was no shower curtain so it was impossible to prevent the water soaking the floor, as we are old it created a slip hazard.
The ceiling appeared to have been recently decorated and the smoke detector was still wrapped in protective tissue, meaning it would likely not work.
One of the windows had a big crack in it.
