The location is very easy to be found, the service is high end, but you need to prep some ear plugs as the Medina is loud at late night like any other Medina.

This place is just amazing. We spent only one night and we couldn't been happier. The ambience, decor is just magical and the buffet breakfast delicious and plenty to choose from. Location perfect, close to the ferry and right in medina w all the shops and restaurants. Staff very professional and friendly. Highly recommend and hope to be back as well.

We loved this Riad! From the moment you arrive the staff are welcoming and kind. The property is beautiful and clean and feels like it’s of another time. Breakfast each morning was an absolute treat. Next time we’re in Tangier, we will stay here again!

The Palais Zahia is by far the coolest hotel that I have ever stayed at. The hotel staff was amazing and very courteous. The daily breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety of things to eat. The multiple rooftop terraces were each amazing and unique. my favorite was the highest terrorist with the view to the bay. I could sit there all day and watch the ships come and go from the bay.

It looked like an Arabian Palace inside and it was nicely appointed and decorated. Every single surface inside the hotel from the first floor all the way to the roof is either hand-painted or hand carved or both. Multiple fantastic artworks and colorful and unique vases decorate the space as well. The chandelier was absolutely beautiful. The level of detail extends inside the rooms as well and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also nicely appointed. Every single tile in the hotel from the first floor to the rooftop to the bathroom to the hallway bathroom to anything you can think of were real high quality tile. It had a nice and smooth texture to the tile that I can't describe and they shine to them that was always beautiful in every kind of light. Even hallway bathrooms were nicely appointed. There's not enough words I can say to describe how beautiful this place is. I wouldn't even consider going to any other place in Tangier except this hotel. It's location in the Medina was also very convenient for shopping and dining and for the ambiance. I'm 100% satisfied!!!

Such a wonderful place at entrance of the the Medina of Tangier. A former bank building from 1907 transferred in the early 2000s to a hotel. After traveling for almost 3 weeks all over Morocco we had our last two nights in this historic place. Great service, excellent breakfast buffet, nicely decorated rooms. Very detail orientated decor of the hotel. The only shortcoming was the noise coming from the street at night. We had a balcony room, facing the street, lovely during daytime and in the evenings, but a bit noisy at night. Not the fault of the hotel, but if you have a light sleep you might want to ask a room facing not the street.

This is a very beautiful and thoughtfully decorated hotel in an historic riad in the old city. There is a rooftop terrace with a panoramic view of the city and of the sea; an elegant dining room in the lobby where I had a very good dinner. The rooms vary in size, so depending on your priorities you might want to inquire about available options. My room was spacious with a balcony facing the street and it was beautifully decorated. Staff are all super-friendly. Overall great stay.

What a great experience this was. The property is in the heart of the Medina, capturing the atmosphere of this unique part of Tangier. Everyone was incredibly welcoming. The room was great and the dining experience exceptional. I highly recommend a stay here!

The staff was most welcoming and efficient. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was delicious and the space was beautifully decorated as was the rest of the hotel. Perfect Tangier experience!

Beautiful riad in medina. Not too hard to find. Wonderful welcoming staff (with our first glass of wonderful Moroccan mint tea!). Sumptuous feel to lobby and rooms. Beautiful breakfast setting on upper levels with huge variety of offerings. We were very sorry to be staying only a single night!

I always stay at this hotel. It is really lovely. You need to know it is very noisy. The noise travels from the ground floor all the way up, during meals and at night it is noisy. I don’t mind the noise, but if you are a light sleeper, beware!

We were treated wonderfully by all of the staff. They had a taxi waiting at the dock which made it so easy to get there. It was fun seeing how the hotel had been transformed from the prior business. If you want to experience a different culture, this hotel makes it easy, you are right in the middle of Tangier. If you want to go to have a good nights sleep, well, things go into the night! Lina gave us a wonderful tour that helped us learn of their culture as well as the beautiful area and shopping in Tangier.

Excellent value for the stay and the hotel is a one of a kind, beautiful and historical building. I will stay there again. Rooftop restaurant has excellent food and service as well.

From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was excellent. I was greeted with complimentary tea and biscuits, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch after a long journey. The views from the top floors were absolutely stunning and added something really special to the stay.

The staff were incredibly helpful, even arranging a hotel transfer for a 3 a.m. airport run – a level of service that didn’t go unnoticed. The only downside was that the spa was fully booked for the entire day, which was a bit disappointing.

Overall, a comfortable and well-run hotel with great service and fantastic views. I’d definitely stay again.

A unique property in the center of “old” Tangier that felt authentic, comfortable, and hospitable. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing location!! Cute hotel and really good and nice staff. Water pressure in shower really good.

The Riad is very noisy. Our deluxe room was tiny. But it has an incredible view from the rooftop.

Excellent location, within walking distance of the Kasbah, city tour bus, and the ferry port. The hosts were beyond wonderful and went out of their way to help find alternative travel options after weather-related cancellations, especially when I couldn’t reach the transportation company. The service was highly customizable and personalized. I initially booked because of the location, but I would return for the exceptional hospitality.

Located in the medina in a busy area there was street noise all night. The staff were very accomodating. The room was spacious and clean. Its an old hotel with beautiful finishes. Delicious breakfast
