Kleines Zimmer es war aber völlig ausreichend
für 4 Nächte/ 5 Tage.
Bequemes Bett & weiche Bettwäsche
Genügend Steckdosen sehr wichtig
Weiche Handtücher & Duschgel

Hotel ist ohne Frühstück - (wird aber bei der Buchung erwähnt) wir können zum frühstücken das Kaffeehuis auf der anderen Straßenseite empfehlen wirklich sehr lecker & freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Abgeschlossener Bereich zum Koffer abstellen
wenn man vor 15 Uhr anreist - Check in ab 15 Uhr

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen im Melrose Hotel, trotz ein paar Kleinigkeiten die ich unten erwähnt habe.

Cons:

Im Hotelzimmer fehlen Haken wo man seine Jacken zumindest aufhängen könnte.
Es gibt einige Kleiderhaken aber die benötigt man schon für seine Kleidung.

Helles Zimmer mit großen Fenstern die man aber leider nicht öffnen konnte.

Zu den Fahrrädern:
€ 18,- für 24h ist ein guter Preis aber teilweise
- schlechter Zustand
- sehr wenig Luft in den Reifen
- ein Rad lässt sich sehr schwer lenken

Wir waren sehr froh das es die Möglichkeit gab sich beim Hotel Räder zu leihen aber für die nächsten Gäste wäre ein kleiner Refresh ideal.

The location was good. The staff was good.

Cons:

The room was very tight. The bathroom floor was quite slippery and the set up wasn’t that comfortable, although the space was well used. The towels and room supplies could have been better maintained. In the 5 days we were there, we ran out of tissues and shower soap. Neither was refilled and we had to request.

Pros:

Great location and friendly and helpful staff. Our basement room was comfier than expected and extremely clean. Space had been maximised and used well and the air con was great.
However - walls are extremely thin, we could hear everything from the guests in the rooms next to us - water running, toilets flushing, conversations... Was fine for 1 night but wouldn't stay longer for this reason.

Worst experience - rooms were tiny and underground, no breakfast as advertised, so moved to another hotel after 2 nights

Breakfast was advertised on their website but there was none!

We were put into 2 rooms at Melrose under the ground level, so there was no natural sunlight coming in. When we asked if we could be moved to a higher room as we were there for 7 nights, the reception staff were very unhelpful!

We left after 2 nights (were meant to be there for 7 nights) - moved to another hotel (Element hotel) 4 km’s away and the rooms there were 4 times the size of Melrose hotel rooms and breakfast was included in the price. The new hotel was offering a lot more therefore for the same price.

One Night Stay
Pros:

We stayed at the hotel for one night, May 13–14. Unfortunately, our experience at check-in was disappointing. When we entered with our carry-on luggage and backpacks, there were three staff members at the reception area. One greeted us briefly but did not offer assistance or ask if we had a reservation.

When I approached the desk and provided our passports, one staff member (Ali) answered a phone call while processing our check-in. Meanwhile, another staff member was assisting a different guest. The overall interaction felt unwelcoming and unprofessional.

We were asked to complete a form requesting personal information such as date of birth, place of birth, home address, email, and phone number. While some details may be required under local regulations, we felt the request for home address and other information was unnecessary since our passports already contain most identification details. The explanation provided did not feel clear or reassuring.

Overall, we found the front desk service to be unhelpful, and the experience did not meet our expectations. Considering the price we paid, we did not feel the stay was worth the value. The bathroom facilities and amenities were also below expectations. We hope management will improve staff hospitality and guest service in the future.

Adorei minha estadia no hotel. A equipe da recepção é incrîvel. Voltaria pra me hospedar novamente.
Pros:

Localização é incrível! Tem tudo por perto e dá pra fazer tudo a pé.

Cons:

Não tem café da manhã no hotel mas tem cafés, lanchonetes, restaurantes, bares e mercados na rua e por perto.
