Hotel Posada de Belssy

While checking on the hotel I was told to pay cash when my booking was clearly set with credit card. I had to go to a bank and withdraw cash and pay for a fee because of that. In general the service was good but then again I was expecting breakfast at 7am and personnel arrived to kitchen at 720am, we ended up 45minutes late for our trip of the day. Those small details made me angry

I guess my expectations were too high for what $72 buys for 2 nights including breakfast in the Copán area. The room was downstairs from the lobby and felt like a small dungeon that was not overly clean and very loud with street noise. I was sad to learn that there is no hot water, and both nights we stayed there at least 1 guest would need to ring the front door bell for 15+ minutes before the night manager would open the door for them. The breakfast was great and the staff were nice, but no one understood 1 word of English. I will stay somewhere else the next time I visit the Copán area.

A block from de central park this is a good deal for the price - Ask for a room with AC - Some of the single rooms sare very small but the rooms with 2 beds or a double bed are nicer - Decent rooms fo the price

Neanmoins c est plutot une chambre a 15 dollars : pas de fenetre/ cuisine de l hotel contigue donc nous vivions au rythme des petits dejeuners / pas d eau chaude pendant trois jours / eau coupee de 22 heures a 6 heures / literie defoncee / il y a un café tres sympa en roof top .

Nice hotel, with lovely staff, willing to help only in Spanish. Comfortable room , with bathroom has electric shower, the rooftop pool and view are beautiful, would have been good if the little bar sold beer. For the price I would stay again

Our check in was a little rocky but after that everything was great. Very clean, comfortable beds, VERY good breakfast. The rooftop coffee shop and pool are are cute, and the coffee is some of the best we've had in Central America. The hotel manager was able to recommend a great hot spring resort and good restaurants, and the entire staff was very friendly. Only negatives...WiFi was spotty in the room and the front room could get very noisy when the church across the street had services several nights a week. Overall, a great value in a fantastic location.

Great room for the price right in the centre of Copan Ruinas. It even has a little pool, a rare treat in a budget hotel. This is my third time staying here and it looks to be improving under new owners. Free breakfasts now, and the "tipico" prepared for us was hot and fresh with homemade tortillas made while we waited.

The hotel is ok, but the customer service needs attention.

The hotel staff were super friendly and helped bring our luggage to the room. There was free parking outside that was safe on the street. The front entrance was welcoming. The rooms were tidy but old. The bedding was old but clean.The shower head face back towards the walls in our room and spilt onto the bathroom floor. Also there was no hot water for showering. It was on the colder side. The bathroom was old and overall ok. Good stay if you want something on the cheaper sife. Breakfast was good and they gave us extra food for free. They had both American and local style breakfast.
