Aspro Hotel

A tropical paradise ! Wonderfull to look out on all the mature tropical plants in the fabulous garden, the palm trees around the pool have been there 30 years. The family who own the hotel were so friendly showing us round and answering all our questions on the plants. Nothing was too much trouble, drinks and food by the pool were great. We visited the 9000 year old Knossos palace. The location is perfect for a quiet stay and a short walk down to the fabulous Hersonissos harbour, we were so pleased to be back there for our 30th Wedding anniversary, a really great stay thank you !

Les suppléments sur la climatisation et Wifi sont inadmissibles. C’rst La première fois q’on me demande un supplément pourtant lorsque je réserve via Expédia habituellement ces prestations sont inclues. Rend le confort coûteux et basique. La vue de la chambre est décevante. Le staff en revanche est agréable

Very load cicadas (insects) from morning until evening. Not best place for good sleep. Cleaning staff woke us up two mornings and two other nights partying youths woke us up in the middle of the night. Otherwise everything was good considering the price, but for us the main reason for a hotel is to get a good night sleep and thats why i cant recommend this hotel.

I went here with my boyfriend for a week in july. The hotel itself is nice, the rooms, furniture and bathroom might be a bit old, but it is nice and clean. The pool area was cleaned every morning and we had cleaning of our room 3 or 4 times while staying there.

There was however A LOT of noise at night from the other guests, enjoying them self in the bar or hanging out on their balcony. So have this in might if you like me are a light sleeper.

The rooms was nice and cool during the day, but turned into a burning oven at nighttime. If you feel like it, pay extra and have AC. We didn't because I don't enjoy sleeping in AC, and there was no windows to cool down the room at night time. We had a lot of mosquitos that got into our when we tried to cool it down a bit before bedtime, so bring mosquito repellent if you stay during the summer months.

The stay was not bad, but there was just some problems that you just wouldn't have at other hotels.

I am actually kind of fed up with this type of resorts. The one that has to charge you extra for wi-fi and AC. This is so much 1970 and today internet is almost free and AC is something they could put in to the main bill from the travel agent... No, you have to have a code for the wifi and you get the remote when you payed for the cold AC? A cheap standard.
Another thing that get the bad taste from the first hour when you order something from the bar ( a pizza and a beer) and the waiter want you to pay straight away - then you loose the chance to get an extra up-sell for a second beer, You just pay, eat and leave?!
The standard of this hotel is ok, a little bit noisy with young kids running around and screaming. Other than that it was ok - slow, but OK, typical Greece ....?
Next time I go to Crete I will not use this hotel. Nun Said!

The English lady at the reception was a bit rude and the night receptionist was very unreliable with his bracelet sales and bad suggestions. Rooms were dodgy but clean. Beds really uncomfy. Pay extra for air-con it is worth every cent. Pool was clean and garden lovely but we did not spend much time at the hotel, distance to the city ok

Allways a pleasure to stay in Hotel Aspro!
Nice staff with a lot of good humor,and if you need help for rental cars and tours they will be happy to help you.
And the barman Nagi make a really nice
Mojito and other good drinks..
Will be back in September!

I went with my friend on a one-week trip to this hotel in Hersonissos. It's my 2nd time in Hersonissos, where I stayed by a beach hotel. I had an amazing time staying at Villa Aspro, and it was a much more anticipated hotel than I'd thought with a wide range of people in every age. Mostly from Scandinavia, so the guests gets close and that was very nice. It's very charming and cosy, a very down-to-earth hotel and location. Close to the central, the beach and restaurants, shopping centres, super markets, etc. I'd recommend this hotel for lovers and couples going on a nice, romantic holiday since that it's located quietly, but close to everything. MINUS the first night where we got hold of a cockroach and a WHOLE lot of mosquito's, it was nice over-all! Very, very sweet bartender, Nagy, who's got an interesting amount of stories to tell and want you to hang out with him at the bar where he whips up nice drinks... Through out the day food are also served :-) I also recommend you to rent scooters/a car, to make your holiday even greater! I'll definetely think of going back to Villa Aspro and Hersonissos, it's just has its very own charm!

A little and quiet hotel just 5 minuets walk to the center of town. Very helpful stuff, good rooms with a little kitchen. The pool is not big but enough. The bar serves small meals for reasonable prices.

Stayed at the hotel last summer. I had such fun with my family. We all loved the hotel. Not too loud, even with young people staying at the same time. Its only 5mins from star beach which is such fun for the kids with foam parties and bungee jumping. The staff are amazing. Jeanette is so nice and can book lots of trips for you at cheap and affordable prices. Couldn't have asked for a better holiday. Drinks in the bar are very cheep and the food is lovely, cooked by Jeanette. the rooms were cleaned everyday. the pool is a little small but always clean. BONUS -- Its only 10min cab ride from Malia, this helped to keep the price of our holiday down from our teenage chrildren. Thank you. Will be returning.

when we stay the rest of the guests was young people but they don't make
allotted noise. this hotel is perfect for his price.
