Hotel needs a renovation. Excellent staff.
Pros:

Easy location on the main road. Staff was very nice. They gave me free dinner (which I opted not to have).

Cons:

Room was very loud as we slept there over the weekend and drunk people were outside our room all night long. Room needs a lot of work. Restaurant was VERY expensive with below average food quality. Breakfast buffet leaves a lot to be desired. Getting to your car from your room is an opportunity to be lost in a maze. Poor odor within the facility. The nice facade outside does not represent the poorly maintained facilities.

Not a very pleasant outdoor area to relax or take a stroll in . Gets noisy when there is a party or a function. Bathrooms are a bit dated

The staff are friendly and trained.
Pros:

Room was comfortable and clean as well as well designed. The bathroom though were not well designed - actually no shower, only a hand thing that one must wash yourself with. Our sister stayed closeby and also had issues with the bathroom, taps etc.
Breakfast was good and facilities generally in good order.

The parking area can be better done as people travelling with cars need to have safe parking place. The construction ongoing - even though needed - is a bit disruptive

Cons:

Showers and the bathroom is below standard. An extractor fan would be useful as the bathroom remains wet/moist the whole day as it is humid and this is not good for health as mold can start to grow etc. Towels does not dry out.

The local staff are charming and hardworking

Cons:

Management. The excellent local staff are delegated zero authority, so every little thing requires them walking to a back room, and then returning with permission. Petty cheapness in so many different ways. They made a big fuss when I took a plastic menu for their restaurant back to my room.

I would like to express my disappointment regarding the decision not to provide water during breakfast. Water is generally considered a basic and essential item that guests naturally expect to be included with a breakfast service.

We understand that this matter is not related to the staff, but rather to the decisions made by the hotel management. Nevertheless, this policy negatively affects the overall guest experience and should be reconsidered.

Excellent value for Money hotel in the Centre of Livingstone.
Pros:

Everything. It was in the Centre of town. The rooms were big and spacious with a comfortable bed , fridge, kettle ( with tea coffee) and good air Conditioning.Lots of options for breakfast and dinner. The Menu has Asian , European and local dishes all of which were excellent. There was also a nice Pool surrounded by plants and trees. However what made it stand out were all the staff. They were so attentive, helpful, friendly and couldn’t do enough for me. I would most definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

Very pleasant stay at the New Fairmount Hotel & Casino.
Pros:

Very professional, welcoming and proactive staff, from the reception (Alan is fantastic and always available, going the extra mile to make you feel at home) to the restaurant and room cleaning personnel.

The hotel is centrally located in Livingston town, close to everything (bars, restaurants, banks and markets, etc.).

The complementary shuttle bus to and from the airport

Cons:

Though the hotel is kept clean, it would definitely benefit from some renovation works to refresh most of the rooms.

An excellent stay with lovely staff, comfortable rooms, and great food.
Pros:

I had a really great experience overall. The room was very comfortable and well-kept, and both the breakfast and dinner were fresh and enjoyable with good choices available. The staff truly stood out because they were kind, attentive, and made me feel welcome throughout my stay.

Cons:

There were very few negatives during my visit. At times the internet connection was a bit slow, and the reception area could get crowded during busy periods. Aside from that, everything else met my expectations very well.
