Cordial saludo,

Por medio de la presente deseo interponer una queja formal relacionada con la reserva, realizada a través de su plataforma para los días 24 y 25 de febrero en el hotel Hotel Aixo Suites By GEH Suites, ubicado en Cartagena.

Al llegar al hotel en la fecha indicada, el personal de recepción inicialmente nos informó que no existía ninguna reserva a nuestro nombre. Posteriormente, al presentar el comprobante de confirmación emitido por Booking, nos indicaron que la reserva no había sido debitada de la tarjeta y que, por lo tanto, debía realizar el pago directamente en el lugar. Manifesté que no tenía inconveniente en efectuar el pago en ese momento.

Sin embargo, el señor de recepción nos informó que no había disponibilidad de habitaciones, ya que el hotel se encontraba completamente lleno. Considero esta situación irregular, ya que en ningún momento recibí notificación de cobro rechazado, cancelación o inconveniente con el pago. Desde mi perspectiva, la reserva fue cancelada por el hotel sin previo aviso, presuntamente para reasignar la habitación a un precio superior.

Esta situación me generó un perjuicio considerable, ya que tenía un evento programado a las 9:30 a.m., el cual perdí debido a que tuve que buscar de manera urgente otro hotel donde alojarme y dejar mis maletas. Esto no solo me ocasionó afectaciones económicas, sino también personales y profesionales.

Por lo anterior, solicito respetuosamente que Booking revise este caso, verifique el actuar del hotel y me informe qué acciones pueden tomarse frente a este incumplimiento, así como las posibles compensaciones aplicables por los perjuicios ocasionados.
