We stayed in Room 4 of this hotel from 2 to 8 January 2019. We had a very unplesant stay in this hotel, due to the dismissive and biased behaviour of the hotel manager Roza Duran. In addition to her unacceptable behaviour according to Western standards, she refused also to provide services for which I had paid, namely taking care of a decent breakfast and cleaning and replacing the bed linen and towels in the room during the 6 days we stayed in her hotel.
It is really not easy to find the hotel. My Russian girlfriend calls a few times to the hotel manager but it was not very helpful. I was lucky to be with my Russian girlfriend because she could ask some people on the street who showed us the way to the hotel.
By registering on Hotel.com I did ask the hotel to send me a descriptive map to find the Hotel but she did never not reply to my request. When we arrived it was an very unpleasant moment of being confronted with a the hotel manager(Roza Doran [дюран]). She was already irritated of being called to find the address! The tone had been set at the first moment of the meeting with her.
The room is very noisy, because it is situated next to a room where washing machines, water heaters and pumps are regularly at work. There are missing many things on this room. such as, night box, second chair, spoon or sugar lumps, bottle opener ...
Breakfast: Black toasted bread, with a small bowl of butter, jam, Oatmeal porridge which was already cold and old to eat . See pictures
I went to stay on 07/06/18. Stay 7 nights The hotel is a bit hard to find. Because It is on the 2nd floor of the building. The room looks like a picture clean and cozy. And I met Dana. She is very kind and helpful. Next time I'll go back to stay.
The hotel is actually a converted apartment with 4 rooms/master bedrooms. Ours was equipped with shower/toilet. Everything's brand new and clean. Nice interior and fantastic comfortable bed/pillows. It was a paradise for my back/neck. Location is great, near the Mayakovskaya metro station, with loads of shops, cafes and Tverskaya street minutes away (main street leading to Kremlin), however to find the hotel was a challenge. I would advise the future guests to have hotel's phone number at hand in case if you can't find it. But we were lucky as we encountered a lady, who showed us the way to the hotel (just asked people around). Otherwise, it could have been a challenge. This is VERY IMPORTANT to have signage or at least a map/scheme provided on the website on how to get there. I guess signage was not available as this is an apartment within the luxury block of flats.
The drawback was that the construction of the part of the building was still going on, so lifts, walls, floors were covered in plastic film/dust and yes, hearing drilling/hammering during the day was inevitable. The hotel is allocated on the 2nd floor, lifts available.
Also I would like to point out that there is a lack of information being provided at the time of check in/when tourist registration being done. It would be good if hotel's admin let guests know the registration procedure (for foreigners) as our passports were taken away during the checkin and returned the next day.
