Location
During our recent stay at Hotel Altair in Miami, we encountered challenges while observing Jewish Shabbat, which impacted our overall experience. We were not aware that the hotel and included breakfast will be catered to the Jewish community. We respect the religion and people who are practice the religion, but if we knew about the hotel Accommodation we will not put ourselves in this position.
The staff, while generally friendly, seemed to repeat to rest of the guests at the breakfast that the omlet will be serve tomorrow after Shabbat. We had hoped for a more welcoming experience.
As a result, we couldn’t fully enjoy our planned activities for the day. A hotel that recognizes and respects diverse cultural practices would create a more inclusive environment for all guests.
breakfast was a big spread and delicious! couldn't of asked for more. so many choices
Could have had another comfortable chair/couch in the room. there was just 1 and bench but we were 3 ppl.
ארוחת הבוקר היתה מעולה
Close to Bal harbor
I was a fish out of the water
המיקום מעולה והמלון מאוד נוח
חוץ מהאיש הגבוה בקבלה אנשי הצוות לא ככ נחמדים.
The room was spacious.
The lobby area is small, uncomfortable and has an outdated design. The reception staff are not nice and not professional enough. The hotel is intended for very religious people and this is not indicated on Booking.com.
Almost nothing
There are a few kind people working here, but unfortunately 90% of the staff were extremely unprofessional and unpleasant.
This reservation is for one night but I have another one so unfortunately this experience is an experience of 5 days.
We experienced serious discrimination during our stay. No one seemed to care about our concerns or problems. Communication was poor, and when issues were raised, they were ignored.
The most frustrating part was the room situation. We were given a room, and the next day they suddenly changed their minds and moved us without any prior notice. We had to pack everything again and relocate, which wasted a significant amount of our time and energy. This should never happen to guests.
The food experience was also very disappointing.
Breakfast was honestly one of the worst we have experienced. The staff who makes eggs doesn’t make for you if they don’t like you.
The quality was very poor, and at times it felt like service depended on whether they “liked” you or not. Basic requests such as freshly prepared eggs were inconsistently handled. Overall, the food quality was unacceptable.
To be honest, it doesn’t feel like management cares about guest feedback or reviews at all.
Unless you have no other option and would rather sleep on the street, I would not recommend staying here. I cannot in good conscience suggest this place to anyone who does not want their vacation ruined.
le personnel tres gentil
les chambres sont bien
je n ai pas eu la facture
petit dejeuner tres bien mais concept des tickets tres mauvais reservation pour 4 et seulement 2 petits dej
Good morning,
First of all, know that I would publish my very bad experience on all social networks and Google
I am Eric Msika and you assigned me room 402 from 9 to 20/01/26
You play with my revolut card without giving me an explanation.
I inquired with "Fabi" the day before my departure and she told me that I only owed $15 or $20 (difference between the $350 deposited with my card and the valet fees)
The next day I was told no it's $884 then I explained that I had paid everything by booking so the person at the reception apologized and tore the invoice. She told me yes it's true you didn't owe anything
Then I was debited $124 from my account
I returned to the hotel while I was heading to the airport to take my plane: we apologized for the mistake and I was told we would refund you $508.5. I came back again to say this amount does not come back to me it's a mistake you only owed me $124.
Now I realize that you have manipulated my Visa fingerprint again and that I would have paid a sum of more than $600
I don't understand
What are you playing?
I am very unhappy with the lack of transparency of the notes
