Caldera's Memories

The views from this property were amazing. Kalliopi at reception was great. She provided recommendations, assisted with arranging transfers from the ferry, to the airport, and into town. Loved our time by the pool enjoying the views, sunset, afternoon poolside treats, and complimentary sparkling wine. This property is a short hilly walk to Imerovigli or $20E cab ride to Fira. Fira had lots of shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Recommend renting a car as transfers can add up quick.

L’emplacement, la vue à couper le souffle sur le coucher de soleil. Le service plus que parfait! Merci encore Kalliopi pour toutes les petites attentions à notre égard.

La vue est juste magnifique. Être en surplomb de la caldeira permet d'être à l'abri des regards des marcheurs.
La réceptionniste est aux petits soins et d'une gentillesse incroyable.

Outside space amazing but unfortunately we could not use the facilities due to the weather. Staff nice.

Wow, what a fabulous stay. Caldera's memories was amazing in so many ways. Perfectly situated between Fira and Oia above the walking path with superb sunset views. The whole facility is spotless and cleaned thoroughly daily. The pool area is divine, and with the amazing caldera view, you could honestly sit there all day watching the boats coming to and fro into the harbour. The staff are all super helpful and friendly and made our stay so enjoyable. We were able to check in early. Thank you so much! Our favourite stay in Europe after 2 months of travelling. Highly recommend!!

The view you have from here is amazing! The room was as expected. The girl from the reception was very friendly and helped us with recommendations. Nothing to complain about!

La vue est tout simplement incroyable. L’hôtel, avec son nombre restreint de chambres, offre une atmosphère paisible et vraiment agréable. La chambre est très bien agencée, avec un lavabo situé à l’extérieur de la salle de douche — un détail pratique au quotidien. Aucun bruit de circulation, puisque nous étions situés au niveau de la piscine, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus reposant. Il est recommandé d’avoir une voiture pour explorer facilement l’île, même s’il est tout à fait possible de rejoindre Imerovigli à pied en environ 15 minutes.

Stunning location to watch the sunsets and view Oia from your room or pool , with drink in hand . No need to go out to an expensive restaurant or bar to watch. Very private Hotel nestled in between touristy cruise ship filled Fira and Oia. We enjoyed a 1 hr 45 min hike to Oia ( 1 hr 45 min) the trail goes right by the front of the property . Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Rooms and amazing infinity pool ( great for pictures) were spotless. Easy bus ride to both villages or easy walk to Fira

We absolutely loved this hotel! The views cannot be beat…simply stunning! There are lots of hotels within walking distance (good shoes are recommended as many are up the walking path which you may have to do in the dark). Tasos tavern is the closest and offers authentic Greek cuisine and a welcoming owner. Breakfast was excellent - you order what you want the day before from a wide selection and it is served in a panoramic view room protected from the elements.

They have a deal with local businesses where they can deliver for one euro. We ate lunch on our balcony a couple of days soaking up the view. There is a fridge in the room if you purchase drinks at a local market but we loved that you could easily order from a beer/wine list at the hotel. Sunsets are fabulous…and the welcome bottle of champagne was used to watch it from the pool area.

The staff were amazing…kind and looking to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

My one and only caution is that we were in an upstairs room and even though we are both very mobile, I didn’t love doing the stairs at night to go to the bathroom. I would book a downstairs room next time.

If we are able to return to Santorini, we will look nowhere else. This is the most fabulous place on the island. Away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to reach it when you want.

The hotel is on the edge of the caldera with a beautiful view of the sea and Oia. Also a very good view of the sunset from the pool area. The pool area and the infinity pool itself are clean and comfortable. The room was very spacious and clean. The personnel were very friendly and helpful. They organized an airport transfer and a boat trip for us, which went very smoothly.

Best sunset view in fira. Close walk to restaurants. Very comfy beds.

Location was A+ which is what I was looking for. The view is insane and the sunsets were perfect. I always wanted to do the Caldera hike and the trail is in front of the property which made it perfect. The atmosphere is completely quiet and chill and the rooms are excellent. The staff were super kind especially the front desk girl that checked me in (sorry forgot your name!). I would 100% stay again, I can highly recommend this hotel
