Aqua & Terra Traditional Cave Houses

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Aqua & Terra. From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly warm and helpful, reaching out via WhatsApp in advance to walk us through the check-in process and answer all our questions. When we arrived, a staff member met us and kindly helped carry our luggage up and down the steps — a big help!

The view from the hotel is simply beyond words — it alone is worth every penny. Waking up to that stunning caldera view every morning felt like a dream.

The host also surprised us with thoughtful little gifts, both for us and for our daughter, which made our stay feel extra special. Breakfast was generous, delicious, and varied — the best we had during our time in Greece.

The cave house itself was spotless, quiet, and fully equipped with everything we needed. It’s rare to find a place that combines charm, comfort, and such genuine hospitality.

I would recommend Aqua & Terra to absolutely everyone I know coming to Santorini. It truly made our trip.

Our Hostess took care of all of our needs and transportation. The caves were very clean and the tub was warm for our use. It is very close to the blue domes, so you can go very early or very late. Fantastic! We would do it again.

AMAIZING vacation! Best location, house was impecable and so nice and comfortable, Artemis is all the time making your stay the most wonderful experience, very nice and helpful. Our vacation in Santorini was a dream come true specially because of them.

First of all, Suppose one of the best location in Oia region. Just above of the house, one of the best photo-shooting spot, means. And very close to the main street and many restaurant and shops. The service is also very good and really satisfied. The facility in the room is good enough with air conditioner, shower booth, refrigerator, kitchen tools. Strongly recommend to stay.

The view you have from the terrasse and jacuzzi can't be accurately described as "breathtaking" "stunning" ... are widely used nowadays for every nice spot. The view is one of the most beautiful i ve seen in my life. Appartment is great, clean, typical but up-to-date. I highly recommend.

Excellent location, manager communication very good, always helpful and greeted us on arrival. Our luggage was carried to our room. The cleaner was efficient and lovely, did a very good job. Very happy overall and would definitely recommend to others.

Staying at AquaTerra made our trip to Santorini magical! We'r could not of stayed at a more beautiful place! The owners Artemis and her husband are kind beautiful people who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is unforgettable. The view is postcard picturesque! We have traveled all over the world and Aqua & Terra is one of the most spectacular places that we have ever stayed. Photos cannot do this place any justice! The views were simply breathtaking! This was the perfect place to stay for our party of 5 adults. We enjoyed the patio and outdoor jacuzzi - perfect place to watch the sunset (definitely beats have to deal with the crowds in Oia!). The cave house itself is not too big (as expected), but it was fine as the space extended to the outdoor patio. It comfortably fit 5 adults with 2 couples sharing the 2 double beds. The apartment is located within a few steps from the main square in Oia. VERY close to everything.

Communication with the owner (Artemis) was excellent. I communicated with her via Expedia messaging prior to our trip to arrange airport transfers. She was very responsive and arranged a very organized airport transfer for us.

We loved starting off our day with breakfast on the patio. Ingredients for making breakfast were provided and the refrigerator was stocked every morning with eggs, bread, greek yogurt, honey, etc.

A couple of things to note - the outdoor patio is shared with another smaller unit (jacuzzi's are separate). Also, since the house is located right below the main street, you will constantly hear people talking above the house. Overall, we had a great stay and we would HIGHLY recommend this place.

We absolutely loved our stay with Aqua & Terra. Nikolaou arranged a service to get us from the port to Oia and was waiting for our our car to arrive. She had our bags brought from the car to the room and made sure we had everything we needed. The plunge pool was perfect, the location was amazing, and the suite was everything you could need. She arranged a boat trip for us which was one of the highlights of our trip.
Our flight wasn’t until midnight and Nikolaou was extremely helpful in helping us find a place to store our bags and gave us helpful tips on how to travel to where we needed to get to. We are excited to return to Santorini and would definitely stay here again!

Property is located in village. Great view , very noisy due to cruises ship tourist.

Location is good. Paid quite a bit for the property. Owner removed addition bath towels as they realise that there is only 2pax staying in the villa. Was warned that there will be addition charges if we stepped on the towels and dirty it. Breakfast served in a paper bag is average. Dehumidifier is broken and flooded the floors that I had to clean up. Wine opener was broken and had to borrow from my neighbour.

Fabulous views, hot tub, bathrooms, rooms, beds, breakfast, privacy but close to central street. Many restaurants within a few minutes walk. Kitchenette was a bit of a squeeze but we managed a couple of interesting breakfasts. Very helpful with luggage to and from property. We actually would have been happy with no service on the sunday. Would revisit as part of a Greek trip.

What an amazing stay from the moment we checked it. Our host collected us straight after our airport transfer. We were two couples and a single fella. Our host had guys to help with luggage, although the accomodation is not far at all. I can't believe how central this cave house is. We had our own amazing private pool that looked out in the caldera. The location is bang on central in oia. The breakfast provided was excellent and the pool is big, Could easily fit 6 people.. The host Also helped us book a half day caldera cruise and managed to get another boat just For us, so didn't have to go on a crowded boat. The experiance was amazing from get go. I cant recommend It enough, you have to stay here to believe how amazing this place. Artemia, thank you hosting us, we are your family. We had the time of our lives that we will never forget.

NIce, well-maintained very clean cave house with excellent views of the caldera in a central location in Oia.

We booked 2 nights stay through Hotels.com. Property is situated in the prime location in Oia Santorini. It is a gorgeous place. Owners are super friendly and helpful. George and is wife met us nearby bus station to help us check in and our luggage. We had an amazing short yet unforgettable time. Only recommendation is to improve check in communication/instructions. Cheerz.
