Le prix de 37 € par nuit que j’ai payé après un gros discount ne vaut malheureusement pas plus

Beware of early check-in requirements; short walk to medina
Pros:

It was fairly convenient to walk to the medina and port. Staff was helpful and accommodating when I needed to change rooms, despite it being a busy holiday week. The second room I had was clean and had a good view of the water.

Cons:

They only check in between noon and 6 pm. This is unusual, so I didn’t think to tell them I’d be arriving at 8:30 and they gave my room away. (They did find me a room, thankfully — much to their credit!) They had emailed me to ask about my check-in time, but since I only check my email once a day, I did not see it. I’ve never had a hotel end check-in that early.

Also, It was in the hotel district, where taxis overcharge you and refuse to use the meter. It was more expensive than hotels in the medina and unlike my previous hotel in Tangier, they only accept cash, so I had to track down an ATM that didn’t charge exorbitant fees in order to get the cash.
