Property really worn out. Needs a complete makeover
The management tried to collect for rooms that we have already paid through Hotels.com
Will not book at this hotel again. Management attempt to Mislead us.. not happy at all.
We felt very well attended to by the staff, who were always able to answer questions and apply is with recommendations. The rooftop view was splendid!
Small room , TV not working properly. It was an ok room but too expensive. It's not a value for money choice. Breakfast basic .
This is one of Nafplion's boutique hotels in the old town. It is in a very nice location in a pedestrian zone one road back from the harbour. The manager is very friendly and welcoming. The conversion of the building seems to have been done by someone with a dislike of light. The corridors and rooms are very dark, even oppressive. Our room on the top floor had a nice balcony with a view out to sea, but the room itself was dimly lit, had no window and was sandwiched between a brown carpet and a brown ceiling. The breakfast (which is served in a well-lit room) was excellent for a small place. At weekends there is a lot of pressure on parking and you will probably have to walk from the free harbour car park.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, although a bit on the dark side. The air conditioning was good & strong. The bathroom was spotless & we had a luxurious multi nozzle shower. Breakfast was delicious! What I liked best about this hotel was it's central location in Nafplion. It was within walking distance to everything.
The hotel location was fantastic and the hotel staff were very helpful. However, the “luxury” claim was quite overstated. The mattress sunk in the middle so we had to resist rolling into each other. Also, not at all a fan of the shag carpet. Breakfast was average. Overall an ok experience. If the mattress issue was addressed I would consider staying there again due to the great location.
Excellent hotel when you visit Nafplion. Great location in the old town with perfect view of the castles from specific balconies.
Great location, hotel and staff - Only minus is that there is smoking in the hotel.
Excellent hotel located in the old town. Staff is amazing, responsive and friendly!
Staff waited for my very late arrival and were very accommodating. Good value for money. Would go back again if I visit Nauplio again.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff and one of the best breakfasts I’ve had anywhere. Hydra is a beautiful place to relax, swim, eat and chill.
Great hotel in a fantastic position in Nafplio. Near the front and all the restaurants and bars. Ideal for using as a base for sight seeing in the area. Very friendly staff and good breakfast served every morning. We had the top room and therefore benefited from having an amazing balcony so were able to sit out and enjoy views over the sea and the castle above the town. Would highly recommend.
Had booked a suite with sea view expecting to get what I saw on the pictures, but when we got there, it was a very small hotel, room was very small for a suite, not at all what was illustrated, and there were no windows at all other then one tiny one 12''x12'' in a door that led to the balcony. Only from there did you see the sea .... And the breakfast was disappointing as well, very few option and not that great. Would not recommend
Stayed here for a night during our recent Greece road trip. Great location in the center of the town. You have to park a couple of minutes across as the hotel has a pedestrian alley for access. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Great eating options within walking distance. Good breakfast. Given the location, rooms are a little smaller, but we liked the overall ambience.
Highly recommend to visit Nafplio, we'll be back for sure. It is absolutely beautiful, breathtaking actually and, the people were unbelievably friendly everywhere. The food is simply amazing at every restaurant at any hour but, beware the portions are plentiful; we split most meals. The town is bustling with happiness and a sense of proud like no other that is infectious. Going the first week of April, the temps were cool to cold nights but, warm days. Parking is difficult at times but, once your parked you can walk everywhere.
Amazing view of the sea, perfect location in the middle of the old city (all the shops and sights) And great breakfast included as well.
Absolutely would recommend this hotel to anyone.
