The staff spoke very poor english and some not at all and so we had to rely on our driver to communicate. Although we had booked and paid for the room on Hotels.com well in advance, they did not have our reservation and knew nothing about use. They did not even know who hotels.com was. So at first they gave us 3 rooms instead of one and then wanted to charged us more. I had to call up the hotels.com reservation on my drivers phone as their internet did not work. Finally they understood and gave us the right family room (adjoining rooms) and accepted that we had paid in advance. The rooms were nothing fancy but fine. Of course no shower curtains as we found to be the case throughout Uganda. ( probably to avoid mold). Good mosquito netting over the beds. Although we saw very few mosquitoes. We were there two nights while visiting the National Park and Falls which was a wonderful experience. The breakfast was very good.
