The hotel has its own car and driver. This provided an excellent service to see locations and sites outside Valletta.
Great location within easy walking distance of many restaurants and main sites in Valletta.

A great place to stay for a visit to Malta if you want to be central in Valletta. Close to all sights and amenities

Classic Hotel in a Prime Location
Pros:

The room and hotel were outstanding! The room has classic decor and included a more modern bathroom. The hotel staff were wonderful and quick to coordinate taxi transfers, recommend tourist sites, and offer any other answers to our questions. The breakfast was also wonderful, offering alot of choices for our 3-night stay.

Excellent base for exploring Valleta and the area.
Pros:

Exceptionally pleasant historic building which had been converted into a comfortable and tasteful hotel. Feeling of luxury and calm as soon as you enter- which is important as the streets outside are constantly busy with tourists. Rooms very comfortable with high standard of service. We were upgraded to a suite which was delightful. Breakfasts fine. Reception staff excellent. We had a lovely welcome and the manager later approached us to offer help on visiting the city and surroundings.

Cons:

Only issue for us was hardness of mattress on bed- which we often experience in hotels.
Minor issue too is fact that taxis cannot park outside so you have to lug cases to meeting point.
