Our stay at Domus Zamittello exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome after mentioning during our booking that my wife and I were celebrating a special occasion. The hospitality throughout our stay was exceptional.
The carefully curated à la carte breakfast was a wonderful start to each day. A special thank you to Moul, the General Manager, and Maria, who regularly checked that everything was in order and were always happy to share great local recommendations, helping us experience Valletta like locals.
Domus Zamittello is a stunning historic palazzo, full of character and timeless elegance, while offering every modern comfort. Its location, right next to the Parliament building on Republic Street, is ideal within walking distance of Valletta's main attractions and restaurants, yet remarkably peaceful and quiet.
We left with wonderful memories and would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Valletta. Highly recommended.

The location was a 10/10, super close to absolutely everything: the bus station, the ferry ports, shops, touristic attractions, restaurants. It is located right where the main street starts, very close to the Triton Fountains.
The property looks very nice, it is a renovated italian pallazzo. We booked the suite, it was clean, quite spacious. We enjoyed the little sweet treats they left us such as biscuits and chocolate on our pilllows or a plate of fruits. The room has nice amenities, iron and iron board, mini fridge, coffee machine, water bottle that is refilled daily and various stuff for the bathroom such as toothbrush, shaving kit, showercap etc.
The breakfast was super tasty, made fresh a la carte (not buffet) with quite a few options to choose from.
The staff were great, receptive to our problems/askings, the manager and a recepionist even came to talk to us during the breakfast just to make conversation and welcome us, very nice people!

The location is perfect for exploring Valletta on foot, while the peaceful atmosphere makes you forget you're in the heart of the city. Our room was elegant, comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained throughout our stay. Every detail reflected the care and quality that define the hotel.
What truly made the difference, however, was the service. Every member of the team was genuinely welcoming, professional and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel offers excellent value for the overall experience, combining history, comfort and outstanding hospitality. The amenities were thoughtfully selected, everything was impeccably maintained, and despite its central location, the noise level was remarkably low, allowing us to enjoy peaceful and restful nights.
Luxury is not only about beautiful surroundings it is about how a place makes you feel. Domus Zamittello gets that exactly right. We left with wonderful memories and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff and service

This hotel is an Old World gem in the heart of Valetta. The staff was friendly, helpful and polite. The breakfast wonderful and rooms beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at Domus Zamittello. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the amenities were top-notch, making everything feel comfortable and well taken care of. I love experiencing history and this hotel was a perfect window into that era of time.

What truly made the experience stand out was the staff—especially Sandra. She was friendly, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable about Malta. She went out of her way to make us feel at home, treating us more like family than guests and offering genuine hospitality throughout our stay.

Overall, the combination of a well-maintained property and such warm, attentive service made our visit especially memorable.
