Pros:

Location was great -- still very central but away from the crowds. Amsterdam Centraal is just 15-20 minutes away by foot, and it makes for a nice walk by the canals. The breakfast selection was good too - just the right amount of options.

als Vlamingen in Nederland had ik toch wel verwacht in het Nederlands bediend te worden, zo goed als uitsluitend Engels ... veel personeel begreep zelfs niets van de Nederlandse taal

kleine frigo op de kamer zou niet misstaan aangezien er niet een mogelijkheid was om 's middags of 's avonds iets in het hotel te eten

kamerdeuren vielen zeer hard in slot waardoor die toch lawaaierig waren 's nachts

Pros:

Die zentrale Lage, das freundliche Personal und der Aufbau des Zimmers haben uns gefallen. Unser Hotelzimmer hatte auch einen schönen Blick auf den Kanal hinter dem Hotel.

Cons:

Die Sauberkeit war leider stark zu bemängeln. Trotz angemeldeter Reinigung wurde unser Zimmer nicht gesaugt und außerdem war ein Fleck auf dem einen Bettlaken, der beim beziehen wohl übersehen wurde.
Anscheinend gibt es auf den Zimmern aus "hygienischen Gründen" auch keine Toilettenbürsten, weshalb man stattdessen an der Rezeption die Zimmerreinigung dafür anmelden musste.
Nach der Reinigung wurde außerdem ein Putzlappen im Bad liegen gelassen.

Ansonsten gab es zu wenig Haken im Bad, um Handtücher anhängen zu können. Das Fenster in unserem Zimmer war defekt und auch nachdem die Rezeption informiert wurde, wurde es nicht richtig repariert.
Außerdem wurde das Toilettenpapier während unseren mehrtägigen Aufenthalts von der Zimmerreinigung nicht aufgefüllt, sodass man auch bei der Rezeption Bescheid geben musste.

Hotel mit einigen Problemen
Pros:

Das Frühstück war okay.

Cons:

Das Hotel befand sich 1Km vom Zentrum entfernt. Zuerst gaben sie mir ein Zimmer im Keller. Es gab keine Finken die man als Gäste benutzen darf. Leider wurde das Zimmer auch nicht gut geputzt. Es gab immer noch Haare von den letzten Gästen.

Pros:

The breakfast was very good, and the staggered breakfast arrangement worked really well, ensuring there was enough space for everyone. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a relaxed atmosphere, and everything was well organized. I would recommend this place to others!

Cons:

It was unfortunate that we couldn’t get an earlier check-in. In addition, we were not aware that room service would come in the morning, as we were told that it does not necessarily take place every day.

Comfortable but very limited facilities
Pros:

Location was perfect
Staff allowed me to have a late checkout option free of charge

Cons:

Breakfast Time Slots, this was not ideal.

There was only a very small bar near reception for drinks, hotel didn’t have much food options except breakfast and a small area with drinks and sweets.
So when I arrived for check-in I hat to leave the hotel for a sandwich

My expectations wasn’t covered.

Place was good, around the center.

Cons:

Very disappointing and unacceptable experience. I specifically booked a room with a king-size bed, but upon arrival, the hotel tried to place me in a room with separate beds. This is a basic booking requirement, and failing to honor it shows a lack of professionalism and poor customer service.

There was no proper effort to resolve the issue or offer a suitable alternative. It felt like my reservation details were completely ignored.

I would not recommend this hotel to others, especially if you care about getting what you actually booked. Be careful — your reservation may not be respected.

Pros:

It's near the centre,as per location.our requests was granted except for an earlier check-in which is understandable

Cons:

The room wasn't clean properly.dust everywhere.
Sheets and curtains have stained.we were told they normally clean the room after three days so our room wasn't clean during our entire stay.i have to take the body wash container to the reception to fill it up.
