Would 100% stay again
Pros:

Views, facilities, and uniqueness of the crane were fantastic. Very clean.

Cons:

Top room was quite cold and we're unable to use the room. Baring in mind it was 0 degrees outside.
Overall heating needs improving.

WORST EXPERIENCE
Pros:

We turned up to the property and couldn’t get in. Waited 2 hours for security and they could not get in. Wasted so much time and couldn’t get it so had to cancel and find another hotel. Worst experience, do not risk booking this!!!!!

You could not access the property!!!!!

Pros:

Es ist eine Wohnung im Kran, was könnte cooler sein! Sehr schöne ruhige Nachbarschaft. Wir sind sogar ein paar Mal zu Fuß ins Zentrum gegangen, aber man kann natürlich auch die Straßenbahn oder den Bus nehmen. Die Straßenbahn fährt direkt zum Museumsviertel. Auch sehr praktisch. Schöne Küche. Wir haben die meiste Zeit in der Wohnung gekocht. Geschäfte sind in der Nähe. Wir haben es geliebt!

Cons:

Es gab ein paar Schwierigkeiten beim Öffnen und Schließen der Türen. Vielleicht haben wir etwas falsch gemacht.

Was good
Pros:

Everything was amazing, beds were comfy, furniture was new. I had everything I needed. I truly recommend it to everyone.

Cons:

I could barely open the door to get to the last floor. I thought it was impossible but I tried again in the morning and it worked. The sad thing was that because of that we were sleeping downstairs without such a nice view .

Veiws alone are worth the price.
Pros:

Really fun place to stay. Away from the main city but close enough to local cafes, bars and supermarkets

Stairs are very steep. Fine once used to them.

A modern stay from a totally unique perspective
Pros:

It’s so unique. Thoughtful amenities. It’s been beautifully restored into accommodation. Views are incredible and facilities second to none

Cons:

It’s a bit far out, quite cold in January but we would stay again on the summer

Once in a life time experience!
Pros:

Staff and YAYS personnel - especially Phillipe and Mario - were extremely helpful! Location and view incredible.

Cons:

Stairs inside The Crane is very steep, but that is typical Amsterdam - otherwise everything was awesome!

Super quirky stay
Pros:

Easy check in at Yays Maritime hotel nearby with complimentary taxi to the crane. Spotlessly clean, fun place to stay. Bikes provided, but only a short walk to Amsterdam Central station.
