We had an amazing time at Al Manara hotel and Kubba Levantine.
​From the moment we arrived, the hospitality of the staff was truly outstanding. They were extremely professional, but at the same time, their attention to the guests felt genuinely friendly.
Saddeel, the receptionist, gave us a fantastic free upgrade to rooms with nicer views, which provided a perfect start to our stay.
​In the following days, we were impressed by the impeccable work of the cleaning staff, the responsiveness of the lifeguards at the Red Sea beach, and the lovely tea prepared at sunset.
The hotel manager is doing a commendable job, as all services were impeccable and the breakfast was marvelous!
​We have absolutely no complaints!
Our only comment would be that complimentary water is provided in 300ml bottles, which seem very wasteful. We would suggest that the management considers providing fewer but larger plastic bottles in the rooms.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Al Tayba Restaurant, located inside the hotel where I am staying. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent.
I would especially like to mention Ahmed and Basem — they were both incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The chef truly deserves praise; the dishes were absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. The presentation and plate decoration were also very appealing and added a special touch to the meal.
Overall, Al Tayba Restaurant offers great food, outstanding service, and a pleasant dining environment. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I chose Al Manara from the reviews and our visit was just exquisite!! It definitely deserves the 5 stars. The architecture, the interior, the cleanliness their amazing beach and awesome room view, and most importantly the service was nothing less than EXCEPTIONAL, I would like to extent a special thanks to Owen who was of help throughout the whole stay, and not to mentioned the very sweet gesture him and my husband planned for our anniversary. This place will definitely be a place we will visit again.

Incredible resort! This exquisite hotel is right on the Red Sea and its beauty is matched by the excellent service and amenities. The property is amazing—a peaceful retreat to restore you well being. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. I want to give a specific note of gratitude to General Manager Fares Daghlas who greeted me so warmly and ensured my stay was exceptional. His attention to detail and obvious care for customers was noteworthy and greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this luxury property for an incredible stay in Aqaba

Great hotel with multiple beach and pool options. Good service and staff. Comfortable and quiet at night.
Dining. Felt the breafast buffet at 11 Jod per person was worth the money especially if you want a nice cup of coffee and western options. Did not try a la Carte breakfast which was more expensive - 20 JOD pp I think. Kids and partners walked into town for their breakfast which was cheaper and they enjoyed. Mid-day lunch in the pool bar was good and reasonabley priced. Evening meal in the hotel was quite pricey and there are better options in Aqaba both from a dining and cost basis. Our favourite meal was at Focahar Jordanian restaurant - ordered multiple (too many) dishes on a shared Tapas- type format. Delicious and cost only 10 JOD per person. Khubza and Seneya also very good. Staff at both of these new how to make you feed welcomed to Aqaba. Loved wandering around the restaurant area in Aqaba the evening - very safe and atmospheric.
Trips. We did the Petra- Wadi circuit from Aqaba. Had Jordan pass and hired a car/driver from Bridge travel via the Viator website prior to arrival. The car/ driver only cost basis worked out a lot cheaper than other options and worked well - really enjoyed. Note that if you want to visit the arches in Wadi Rum you need the 4 hour not 2 hour jeep option. We did 2 hour - still worth it but not sure Id have managed 4 hours.
We did a snorkeling trip booked through hammerhead dive centre in Aqaba. Hammerhead are close to the hotel so we just turned up and booked at the centre. They picked us up from hotel took us to centre to for dive suits and equipment then drove us down to South Beach. We had an escorted snorkel in a pre-worked out circuit that went from the South beach, over a ship wreck and then back to shore over the coral reef. Perfect for our party of a mixture of ages and water confidence. Felt safe and looked after. The guys who took us there have a fish restaurant which we decided to visit. They picked us up from the hotel and yet another very enoyable meal and Jordan experience.
Transfers: No need to sort out Aqaba transfers before travelling. Organise your transfers from airport on arrival. Aqaba airport taxis are regulated and you pay a set price to get to Aqaba - very reasonable. Also if you are transfering from Amman on the Amman/Aqaba flight - the signage at Amman is really good at directing you to where you need to be. Jordan pass is a very good idea.
It was really quiet in Aqaba and at the hotel due to the troubles. This is such a shame as Jordan and Aqaba are fantastic places to visit - totally safe, friendly, delicious food, perfect weather (in October) and so many interesting places to visit and things to do.
We also spent a few days in Amman which was equally good. Again safe and walkable - although quite hilly. Citadel, ampitheatre and rainbow street at night are a must. Some us went for a float in the dead sea and visited Mount Nemo. Some of us went to see the dead sea scrolls in the museum. Did not have time for Jerash or crusader castles.

What a fantastic hotel on all levels. From the minute you drive into the immaculate grounds you get the feeling this place will be special and it is! The checkin experience is seamless, lovely welcome gift and super friendly. Restaurants were excellent and not expensive, pools are beautiful and the beach manicured everyday.....inc free sunset tea at 5pm each day with a log fire added to the beachside experience. Dj's and live music in the evenings really added to the warm experience. The perfect location in every way.

The staff everywhere are so friendly, cant remember all their names but Evelyn, Gretchin, Yazan.O were great in the restaurants and Mohammad our room cleaner was so professional, friendly and cleaned every inch of our room, the bed displays were incredible! Fermil was so great, bought breakfast to our terrace each day which was stunning, so friendly and articulate.

BUT the highlight of our trip was 100% Jenny...what an incredible person. She looked after us in every way, was so friendly yet really professional. My wife's birthday was made special by her sourcing me ballons, fresh flowers and printing a presentation and then buying a beautiful folder to make the day start so well....all on her day off!!!!

She booked all our restaurants, made sure everything, everyday went perfectly, what an incredible warm and generous young lady.

We did not use hotel transport as had our own driver for whole trip, we also found and booked ourselves a great dive school, easy to book direct and amazing sea, fish and wrecks

In fact on that note to end, what an incredible nation, beautiful people, such as safe place and a must visit and definitely stay here, it is 100% THE best hotel in Aqaba.

This was just one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at under Marriott. Stunning in beauty, amazingly comfortable, and gorgeous beach-side/pool area. The Food was absolutely on-point. All of the staff, from the concierge/valet team, front desk, restaurants, everyone, were very kind, hard-working, attentive and helpful.

If you have the chance, try the Amwaj Restaurant for one of their grill nights. It's expensive, but well worth it. They move their kitchen right outside and it was such a treat to watch Chef Yousef and his team cook. I've never had better grilled octopus anywhere in my life. Everything was so incredibly delicious, I thought I was at a Michelin star restaurant.

It's about an hour drive to Wadi Rum from this hotel. And the waters off Aqaba are a big diving destination - good snorkeling too.

Room was very clean and luxurious, we went later to other High end hotell, but this was te best. Staff very helpful and food at breakfast delicious. And also they offered free cooking class for national dish with guidance from head chef Khalil. It was memorable experience. And, me as a woman loved that they had Byredo body and face care products in room. Wow! Reccommend this hotel!

My stay at Al Manara was was truly exceptional. The hotel and settings are breathtaking, with crystal-clear water and a pristine beach that is ideal for swimming – I don’t swim in pools, so the calm, clean sea was a major highlight. There is even a small reef just off the beach, perfect for a bit of snorkeling and underwater exploration.
The room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable with incredible sea views right from the balcony – waking up to that view each morning was a dream. It added so much to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the stay.
Both the breakfast and evening dinner buffets were fantastic – varied, fresh and delicious every single day. I really enjoyed the food and felt no need to leave the resort at all; everything I needed was right there, making it the perfect all-in-one escape.
The resort also had a warm, welcoming vibe with many families enjoying their holidays, but it still felt calm and relaxing throughout.
This is a perfect place to unwind, enjoy swimming and indulge in great food and stunning sea views. I will definitely be returning!
