Service was incredible and amazing scenery - hoping to go again soon!
I booked this hotel for my parents in May to celebrate my mum's 60th birthday, and they are still talking about what an amazing stay they had. They couldn't praise the hotel enough, mentioning the incredible facilities, beautiful beach and pool, excellent spa, and spacious, comfortable rooms.
They were impressed by the staff, who were consistently professional, and went above and beyond to make sure every need was met. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the food was delicious with plenty of options, and the whole atmosphere made for a truly relaxing retreat.
They also loved the location, describing it as beautifully scenic and peaceful, with a lovely walkway providing easy access to the nearby town. It was the perfect place to celebrate such a special occasion, and they wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Great hotel very nice helpful stuff
Nice hotel room, spa with indoor pool, gym and private beach with pool.
Quality hotel by harbour with lots of restaurants.
Not enough signage in such a big hotel, for example the bar was not signposted at all and we had to ask to find it. Needs an outdoor harbour bar area, as we were not allowed just to order drinks in the aura restaurant which was a shame. Beds around the pool had a min spend of €90 euros in beach bar which can make some guests feel inferior if not spending that much. Also too many towels left on beach beds with people just leaving them and there were no other free beds available to sit on.
Absolutamente soberbo!
Preporuka za hotel, stvarno smo uzivali, sve pohvale, apsolutno nemam sta da zamerim.
We had a fabulous time at this hotel, The cleanliness, service and friendliness were exceptional. The grounds were beautifully kept. Really enjoyed the spa and spa staff were brilliant, had a great deep tissue massage and shiatsu massage. Hotel is well located, a sea front walk from the picturesque old town.
The beach, pool, rooms are all great. The property is impeccably maintained and clean. The restaurants, including breakfast, offer a good selection and great service. The staff is well trained and helpful.
Parking garage is tight. Mountain View rooms do not offer a good view.
Could do with more outside seating
If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Montenegro, look no further than this charming and elegant hotel!
It’s easily accessible from both Tivat or Dubrovnik (though watch out for the border crossing times for the latter), and is completely private though within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the Old Town.
From the moment we arrived, we knew this was the right choice. The hotel buildings are beautiful, both inside and out, spotlessly clean and well designed and furnished. The grounds are so well maintained and the whole complex exudes luxury; not pretentious luxury, just actual, normal luxury!
Our marina and sea facing room was incredible. The view ridiculous. The call from reception 10 mins after we arrived to make sure we were okay was a lovely touch. Every amenity was catered for and the bed and rain shower and Rituals toiletries were first class.
The breakfast is tasty and had good (but not great) variety and we ate at the beach bar every lunchtime - every dish there is fab especially the pizza! We had dinner at the Augusto restaurant too and it was amazing.
The beach was not to my liking, I’m a sand man, not a stone man. But the sunbeds are comfy, and the sea is a literal stones throw away - and is very refreshing!
Where this hotel really stands out is the service. Everyone was lovely, but I want to mention 2 gentlemen, Leo and Janko by the pool / beach, who I could not praise enough. They are not only a credit to themselves and the hotel, but the hotel is lucky to have them. They work so hard, with an approach to service that is focused on being hospitable, personable, professional and attentive, with a joke here and there too, and they are a key reason why we’d love to return.
A truly five-star stay from start to finish – we couldn’t fault this hotel. The entire resort is impeccably maintained, with a luxurious atmosphere throughout. The beach club is exceptional, offering private cabanas, premium sun loungers, fantastic cocktails, and a food menu that exceeded all expectations.
The staff were outstanding and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, whether it was arranging taxis or even ordering us a takeaway when we returned too late for the restaurant.
The resort itself is stunning, with beautifully landscaped grounds and breathtaking views of the marina set against the mountains. Our standard double room had everything we needed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep.
Without a doubt, this has been one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
My only frustration was the children in the pool. Ball games should be banned, and so should jumping in. It contradicts the luxury feel of the hotel.
Beautiful hotel and in a stunning location by the marina.
We visited as a couple and paid extra for a sea view room with a balcony. When we checked in we weren’t overly happy with our view so Reception arranged a new room straight away which was bigger and much nicer!
Very pleased with this.
The hotel is absolutely spotless everywhere. Breakfast was delicious and well managed with plenty of staff.
All the hotel staff were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
We had read reviews about the €90 charge (per couple ) to lie by the pool but it works like a beach club where it’s a minimum spend redeemable against food and drink so if you’re there all day you would easy spend this. My advice would be to use the free loungers and cabana beds to the left of the pool which are free of charge and much quieter.
Our only gripe was the amount of young children in the pool area. They were running in between the loungers and splashing in the pool with parents and staff doing nothing to keep this in check.
I got hit on the head with a flying ball whilst sunbathing and had to tell two young boys to stop play fighting on the edge of the pool as they were splashing water everywhere and if they slipped they could have hit their head on a concrete wall!
Also the restaurant attached to the hotel presents itself as quite up market but when we went on the last night for a nice romantic meal again there were lots of young families and people in beachwear so it kind of killed the vibe a bit.
Just think it’s worth mentioning if you prefer more of an adults only type of hotel as this is how it comes across online.
Also the walk into Herceg Novi is a good solid 30mins. My advice…get a taxi for €6-8 which the hotel will happily book for you.
