Una estancia espectacular
Pros:

Una experiencia espectacular, incluso mejor de lo que esperaba. El hotel está lleno de detalles increíbles y se nota el cuidado que han puesto en cada espacio. Me encantó especialmente cómo todo se integra con las cuevas y el entorno; se siente auténtico y muy especial. El servicio fue excelente y la atención del personal impecable, siempre amables, atentos y cuidando cada detalle. El concepto, la arquitectura y el servicio hacen que sea un lugar con muchísima personalidad y encanto. ¡Muchas felicidades a todo el equipo por crear una experiencia tan bonita y memorable!

Cons:

Lo único que realmente no me gustó fue que el área del WC no tenga puerta. Me resultó bastante incómodo, ya que no hay privacidad, y creo que es un detalle importante que deberían considerar mejorar. Fuera de eso, mi experiencia en el hotel fue excelente.

The only thing I would change would be to stay 2 nights because 1 wasn’t enough!

Excellent hotel
Pros:

Really enjoyable stay at this unusual boutique hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We loved sleeping in a well-appointed spotless cave with excellent air con and comfortable bed. The hotel is in the Sassi amid centuries of history, rock churches and cave houses.

This area could easily justify a 3 or 4 night stay. We stayed 8 nights and found new things to see and visit every day.

The hotel has a spa with an indoor pool where guests have a complementary sauna steamroom session. It is clean and modern. Guests don't have general access to the pool. It would be even better if guests could use the pool to swim and if the pool were not quite so warm.

We would thoroughly recommend the hotel and the Sassi in Matera.
